I had been putting off seeing Matilda for so long because of my own prejudices. I assumed it would be too childish, with mediocre stage design and average performances. Guys, was I wrong!
The Royal Shakespeare Company truly never fails. This has easily become one of the rare musicals that genuinely blew me away.
What makes it even more impressive—and arguably much harder than most shows—is that the cast features nine incredible kids. Given how young they are, they deserve endless praise and applause. The level of discipline and acting talent at such a young age was absolute perfection! 🎭
