THANK YOU @hereimalivefilm @tribeca — it’s been deeply fulfilling. To collaborate with and support true artists with a real point of view is what keeps me going as a music maker. @joshuazweinstein thank you for bringing me on this journey and for the trust with your amazing film. Thank you to every artist, producer, and manager for being collaborative and patient with the one overworked guy who tried to do all of this.

This is a New York film, and we made a New York soundtrack — real artists doing what they do, uninterrupted. A truly DIY punk project, even if it was all 808s and synthesizers.

We’re not done. I want you all to see this film in theaters, and I want you all to hear these songs with an official soundtrack release.

For now, let’s get back to making music.

Proud to finally share that I made the original soundtrack for Here I’m Alive, premiering at @tribeca on June 6

Grateful to @joshuazweinstein for the trust, and for letting me bring this idea to life — a sonic backdrop built from new songs by indie artists across genres.

I didn’t do this alone — it’s been a sprawling collaboration with a lot of incredible artists, producers, and writers. Some longtime collaborators, some new friends, many of us here in New York.

More soon (and I’ll actually keep tagging as I go — the list keeps growing as I tweak things until the last minute).

I forgot to tell all of you on the main feed because I’ve been busy - and also maybe procrastinating - that I opened a new studio.

I wanted a home for my production work that could accommodate a wider range of projects and artists while still being approachable and comfy. Please meet Sheer Studio.

Friends, collaborators and everyone else:

After 8 (?) years, it’s time to say goodbye to my little pink studio. I wish I had a count on how many songs were written, produced or finished in some other way here.

If you came here to make something, spent a stretch working with me as an intern, or just came to sit on the couch and rip a vape, thanks for stopping by.

We may be packing up and moving shop in the next few weeks - feel free to drop in before we shut our doors. Stay tuned for a new, larger studio dropping soon!! (I’ll be close by) And yes, there will be at least one pink wall.
