Benno & Killa on Point!!!

🔥 WHAT A NIGHT! 🔥

Elliott Bennett & Matt Kilgallon — absolutely amazing guests! 👏

What a night of stories, laughs and honesty. Absolutely no punches were pulled as Elliott and Matt opened up about their careers, experiences abroad, life at Blackburn Rovers, stories involving former managers and teammates, and their thoughts on the club as it stands today.

From the highs and lows of football to the stories that probably don’t get told too often… they certainly gave us plenty to talk about! 😂

A massive thank you to Elliott Bennett and Matt Kilgallon for being brilliant guests and giving everyone such a memorable evening.

And of course, a huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported 1875 Legends.

Honouring The Past. Supporting The Future. 💙🤍

This thank you post is a little overdue… but between my trip to the World Cup straight after the Summer Series, making sure all of the players got their photos in the spotlight first, and the other never-ending football admin that comes with organising grassroots events and teams, it’s finally time to say a proper thank you.

A huge thank you to Elliott Bennett (@ebenno88 )for once again giving up his time to support the Telford Summer Series Finals. For the second successive year, Elliott joined us to present medals and trophies to our Elite Cup competition’s players, helping to make their day even more special.

As a local ex professional footballer, Elliott continues to give back to grassroots football with genuine humility. Whether it was presenting awards, posing for photos, signing shirts or simply taking the time to chat with the children and their families, nothing was ever too much trouble.

The Telford Summer Series is all about creating lasting memories for young footballers while raising money for three fantastic local charities, and Elliott’s support plays a huge part in making that possible.

From everyone involved in the tournament, thank you once again, Elliott. Your continued support, generosity and willingness to inspire the next generation of footballers is something we’re incredibly grateful for. We hope to welcome you back again next year.

⚽🏆💙
