Charli XCX is back with Music, Fashion, Film!

Released on July 24th, 2026, Music, Fashion, Film is Charli XCX’s seventh studio album and her first full-length release following the cultural impact of Brat. Rather than recreating the sound that defined her previous era, Charli moves in a new direction, blending distorted guitars, experimental electronic production, and bold songwriting centered on fame, identity, creativity, and reinvention.

The album was created primarily with longtime collaborator A.G. Cook and producer Finn Keane. While its title references music, fashion, and film, it is not a soundtrack.

Instead, it was developed alongside The Moment, a fictional A24 feature film conceived by Charli and directed by longtime collaborator Aidan Zamiri. The album and film explore many of the same themes but are separate projects designed to complement one another rather than tell the same story.

The cover artwork also reflects the album’s concept. Instead of featuring Charli herself, it includes John Cale to represent music, Marc Jacobs to represent fashion, and Martin Scorsese to represent film, making it the second consecutive Charli XCX studio album without her image on the front cover.

Upon release, Music, Fashion, Film received widespread critical acclaim for its ambition and willingness to evolve instead of repeating the formula that made Brat such a defining pop record. While some listeners found it more experimental and less immediately accessible, critics praised it as another bold creative step from one of pop music’s most innovative artists.

Rather than serving as a direct sequel to Brat, Music, Fashion, Film stands as a new chapter in Charli XCX’s career, exploring what comes after reaching the height of mainstream success and choosing artistic growth over familiarity.

20 years ago today, Pharrell Williams released his debut studio album, ‘In My Mind.’

Released on July 25th, 2006, ‘In My Mind’ marked Pharrell’s transition from one of music’s most influential producers to a solo artist. While the album received mixed reviews at the time, its reputation has grown into that of an underrated “cult-classic.”

The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, selling 142,000 copies in its first week, eventually surpassing 400,000 U.S. sales. It also earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album and was certified Silver in the UK.

Featuring Jay-Z, Kanye West, Gwen Stefani, Nelly, Pusha T, Snoop Dogg, Slim Thug, and others, the album blended hip-hop, funk, R&B, pop, and electronic music through Pharrell’s signature minimalist production.

Singles like “Can I Have It Like That,” “Number One,” “That Girl,” and “Angel” showcased a sound that would later influence the direction of alternative hip-hop and pop throughout the 2010s.

Though it wasn’t the commercial blockbuster many expected, ‘In My Mind’ became a defining chapter in Pharrell’s career, laying the groundwork for his evolution as a solo artist and the success that has followed ever since.

LeBron James is officially a member of the Philadelphia 76ers.

After entering free agency for the first time since 2018, LeBron has chosen Philadelphia on a 2 year, $8 million deal that includes a player option for the second season.

The biggest surprise wasn’t where he signed, it was how much he gave up to do it.

Instead of chasing another massive contract, LeBron reportedly took one of the biggest pay cuts ever by a superstar to join a team he believes can compete for another championship.

Philadelphia now pairs LeBron with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, creating one of the NBA’s smartest and most talented trios.

Rather than carrying the scoring load every night, LeBron is expected to focus on running the offense, creating easy looks for his teammates, and controlling games with his playmaking.

This also marks another historic chapter in his career: Philadelphia becomes the fourth franchise LeBron has played for, and he’ll begin his 24th NBA season wearing a 76ers jersey.

At 41 years old, the greatest player of his generation is chasing one more ring, and one more chance to add to a legacy that’s already unlike anything the league has ever seen before. by @eboniteharris

Over the last decade, Breaking Bad has solidified itself as one of the most critically acclaimed TV shows of all time. But beyond the show, it has become a household reference throughout hip hops culture.

Countless lyrical references to characters from the show from rappers like Freddie Gibbs, Juice WRLD, Childish Gambino and more.

The influence carries on visually as well, with artists like Travis Scott and Rich the kid paying homage to different scenes in the show in their music videos.

Breaking Bad has become part of hip-hop’s visual and lyrical vocabulary, proving that its impact extends far beyond the screen.

Tyler, The Creator hearing “See You Again” on the radio for the first time (2017).

Recorded shortly after the release of ‘Flower Boy,’ this moment captured Tyler realizing that a song of his was finally receiving mainstream radio play — something he had never experienced before.

After years of being labeled “too weird” for radio, hearing “See You Again” come through the speakers was a genuine full-circle moment and a glimpse of an artist realizing he had officially broken through.

July 21st marks one of the most important dates in Tyler, The Creator’s career.

On this day in 2017, Tyler released Flower Boy — an album that changed the direction of his career forever.

After years of building his name through Odd Future and his earlier projects, Flower Boy showed a more personal, mature, and focused side of Tyler.

The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, moving 106,000 equivalent album units in its first week, becoming his highest-charting album at the time and earning a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album.

Eight years later, Tyler reached another major milestone with DON’T TAP THE GLASS.

Released on July 21st, 2025, the album continued Tyler’s constant evolution — moving away from the introspective approach of Flower Boy and embracing a more energetic, experimental, and performance-driven sound.

DON’T TAP THE GLASS debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, becoming Tyler’s fourth consecutive No. 1 album and opening with 197,000 equivalent album units in its first week.

The connection between Flower Boy and DON’T TAP THE GLASS is the growth behind both projects.

Flower Boy was the moment Tyler proved he could evolve. DON’T TAP THE GLASS was the moment Tyler proved that evolution had become his standard.

From 2017 to 2025, Tyler, The Creator has built one of the most impressive runs in modern hip-hop — constantly changing, experimenting, and creating on his own terms. by @eboniteharris
