❤️Tonight was nothing short of amazing.

🖤The energy in the room was powerful, the connections were effortless, and I was truly honored to co-host such a meaningful event.

💚I had the opportunity to take the stage and share from a place of experience, culture, and purpose, speaking on Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics) and the importance of building and pouring back into our communities in intentional ways.

❤️A special shoutout to the co- founders of the Black Chamber of Commerce Summit County for your vision and leadership in creating spaces like this for our community to grow and thrive.

🖤Grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many incredible people, including the keynote speaker, and for the ease and authenticity of every conversation throughout the evening.

💚And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who blessed me with kind words, compliments, and well wishes. I truly received it all.

❤️My goal is always to leave a seed, something to grow from, and tonight I believe we did just that.

🖤This is what happens when you trust yourself and walk fully in your purpose.

💚To God be the glory🙌🏾💫 by @ebonyakron

Kwanzaa Day 7-Imani (Faith)

Imani:
❤️Is not blind faith — it’s earned trust

🖤Faith is staying rooted, even when the outcome isn’t clear

💚Imani reminds us: we’ve done the work — now we trust it

❤️This is the exhale after intention, effort, and creativity

🖤Faith in ourselves. Faith in our people. Faith in what’s becoming

💚We don’t leave Kwanzaa behind. We carry it forward — with faith.

Join Kwa and I today at 3pm (est) as we host a virtual Kwanzaa Celebration of Imani.

Please share❤️🖤💚

Kwanzaa Day 6 - Kuumba (Creativity)

Kuumba calls us to leave our communities more beautiful, more meaningful, and more whole than we inherited them.

❤️Creativity is not just art — it’s how we solve problems, build families, and shape community.

🖤Kuumba asks: How did I add value today? not What did I consume?

💚Every generation has a responsibility to improve what was handed to them, even in small ways.

❤️Creativity includes storytelling, cooking, teaching, organizing, healing, and imagining new futures.

🖤Kuumba honors everyday creativity — the kind that shows up in homes, classrooms, churches, and neighborhoods.

💚Kuumba reminds us that we are not passive inheritors of culture — we are active creators of it. by @ebonyakron

Kwanzaa Day 5 - We celebrate Nia

Nia (Purpose):
• Living with purpose — knowing why you’re here and choosing to walk it out daily

• Purpose gives direction to our gifts and meaning to our work

• When we know our purpose, our lives move with intention, not confusion

• Purpose is the “why” behind everything we do

• Walking in purpose means serving something greater than ourselves by @ebonyakron

Kwanzaa Day 4 - Ujamaa
(Cooperative Economics)

• We build together so we all thrive
• Our dollars reflect our values
• Community wealth starts with community care
• Supporting Black businesses is self-love in action
• When we circulate resources, we circulate power
• I invest where my people grow
• Together, we rise stronger

Tonight was extra special❤️🖤💚
Kwa and I were recognized at the Kwanzaa Celebration hosted by Project Ujima — the very place where our story began while volunteering in 2017.

So being honored in that same space, during Kwanzaa, under the principle of Ujima, felt full circle in the most humbling way.

This work has always been about more than us.
It’s about community.

We don’t do this work for recognition.

But moments like tonight feel like a gentle reminder that
how we show up matters.

And love rooted in service grows something real.

Grateful for the journey and
even more grateful that we get to do this side by side. ❤️🖤💚
