Farewell, childhood

Farewell to the years lost, the elusive “golden years” caught in the wind.
What did it cost?
For innocence was cut short, before I knew what was lost.
I miss the colours in my mind, wrought with time.
Slowly, rainbows bow — the carousel moving in tow.
The clouds part and sun rays peak through.
Farewell, childhood. I’ll miss you.

Be like the bunny rabbit.

"Four things on earth are small, yet they are extremely wise: Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer; rabbits are creatures of little power, yet they make their homes in the crags; locusts have no king, yet they advance together in ranks; a lizard can be caught with the hand, yet it is found in kings’ palaces." Proverbs 30:24-26

Do you feel rejected for being an artist?

It was my first solo art exhibit and I was tired, but happy to see my art on the wall.. I went upstairs to the main exhibit room to look for a few of my relatives. (My exhibit is on the bottom floor.)

I joined them looking around the top exhibit, happily admiring the art. My relative said something along the lines of “Are you going to get a real job?” I gaped at him.

We soon went downstairs to my exhibit of 7 paintings and he complimented my art saying “They’re worth more than that.”

Many are fine with art being “just a hobby” but see it as nothing more. As if it isn’t real work.. as if we don’t live and breath art. I accomplished my goal of 10 years but it didn’t mean as much as it should’ve. Because society said so.

I thank the Lord for understanding parents and the ability to stay at home until I have things going, but the majority look at me as a lazy unemployed 20 year old.

I want my art to be taken seriously. Let this be your sign not to give up on your God given dreams, even if the world doesn’t believe in them.

What are YOU doing to fight against AI? I’m making real art no matter what the big corporations say. No matter how they belittle us REAL artists, art belongs to us! God made us to create!

No wonder the Satanic powers of this world push against creatives. I’ve been told by my own relatives that I should “get a real job” but I was made for this. YOU were made to make art!

“Art” made by typing a prompt into a computer is not art. It’s right from the pits of Hell. This is WAR!

To anyone who calls themselves an “AI artist” I know it’s hard. You think you aren’t talented enough to be an artist so you run to AI to help you make your dreams come true. But all you’re doing is hurting the artists you look up to.

There’s no soul in a soup of pictures Frankensteined together by robots. The beauty is in the process. So draw something and see where it leads.

God bless.
