Trigger warning ⚠️

Anyone who’s seen a dead body knows it’s traumatising. For that body to be the body of a loved one makes it so much more traumatic but for that loved one to be your own child and a baby at that is something that births a kind of pain only thought to be imaginable in the pits of hell! Especially when it’s sudden, when less than 24hrs ago you had a healthy baby in your arms. When he died not long after being taken to the hospital because he didn’t seem himself, right when you were in the place to get help for a child you thought would still be coming home with you. After helplessly watching as dozens of people rushed to try and bring him back for what felt like aaaages. That alone is trauma like no other

But I loved my boy soooo soooo much I’d do the 9th of December all over again a hundred times if just for 5 months. I’ll cherish and remember the love I shared with my bubba G forever and always exhault the lord for the love and comfort he’s showered me with up until this point! I know It’s not normal to go through something like I have and be the way I am. My flesh doesn’t understand it either and tries to be sad/depressed at times but my spirit is just so filled with the lords love peace and joy that I just can’t let the sadness take root. And so this is a happy day not a sad one. Not the day I remember my child’s no longer here but the day I remember the blessing of his birth and how much his love and my love for him changed my life! Love always wins!

I’m so grateful for life!!

It’s not easy but doing it with my bestest friend Yahweh makes it so beautiful, despite the hard bad and ugly. I know I’ll always overcome, always find joy and most importantly am loved beyond measure no matter what.

Last year felt unbearably challenging, but through the crushing and and pressing I have come out the other end refined and stronger than I knew I had the capability to become and I know whatever next year has to hold, I will be alright.
