“When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” Isaiah 60:22 🤍Last year, when my airline furloughed flight attendants, I came very close to being furloughed myself. I was overwhelmed and uncertain, but that experience pushed me to apply to other airlines.I was blessed with the opportunity to step into the interview rooms of two major airlines: Delta and United. On January 22, I was offered a flight attendant position with United, and my name was the first on the list. I was still waiting to hear back from Delta, so I wasn’t sure whether to accept the offer. My dad and my sister quickly humbled me by saying, “A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.” 😂 Child… they were right.I first started United training back in March. I made it to the end of week one before I was sent home because my passport didn’t have enough blank pages to obtain a Chinese visa.When I was given another opportunity, I came back determined to make it. But just two days into training, I fell down the stairs, sprained my foot, and once again, I had to leave.Looking back now, I realize what once felt like fear, disappointment, and discomfort was actually preparation. Through it all, I was still holding on to my previous airline. Then, on May 2, the airline officially ceased operations. 🥹God used that season to move me toward an opportunity I never imagined. Sometimes the doors that close are making room for the ones He has already opened.After the longest 6½ weeks, on July 2, 2026, I officially graduated with Class 2620 as a United Airlines Flight Attendant. 🌐✈️Father God, thank You for ALWAYS showing me how good it can get. Thank You for every closed door, every delay, every lesson, and every opportunity. After being rejected a few times, I finally got my YESMy Dream Job At My Dream Airline @spiritairlines 💛Though I spent most of my career traveling for leisure experiencing places, people, and moments I’ll never forget. It shaped me in ways I’ll always be grateful for and gave me memories that will last a lifetime.This chapter is ending in a way none of us expected, I’m incredibly grateful for the time I had. Thank you for giving me some of the happiest years of my life. For the memories, the growth, the people, and the experiences I’ll carry with me forever this journey will always mean so much to me.Saying goodbye is especially hard under these circumstances, but I leave with a full heart and deep gratitude.
