This morning I was sent this by a LA stating that PANS PANDAS is not a validated clinical diagnosis for inclusion within an Educational Health and Care Plan document. The document begins by stating that this is a response to “an increase in requests” and that two thirds of young people thought to have PANS PANDAS achieve a “reasonable response” to conventional OCD and tic related treatments.
So next time I have a broken leg or a diagnosis of a new medical conditional I’ll just hope for someone else to determine what’s a reasonable enough treatment pathway for me. by @ebsaconnect
