After the most unexpected year for everyone I was able to end it with marrying the most loving, thoughtful, courageous man. Growing up I (obviously) never knew who I would marry. I didn’t know if they would understand my culture or understand western culture, but with Haseeb I found my better half and the best of both worlds.
Not only are you the definition of strength, courage, and perfection, but to have my family love the person I married just as much as I do is more than I can ever ask for. I’ve also been lucky enough to marry into a beautiful family that have supported us and privileged enough to gain another set of parents and siblings. Even though I had to make the hardest move across country and away from my family and friends, they’ve made me feel at home.
Thank you for always being a man of your word and loving me more than I could imagine. Thank you for not judging my quirkiness and always keeping me laughing. Thank you for always supporting me and sticking by my side (even during a pandemic). Most importantly, thank you for strengthening my iman and always being patient, even when I file my nails over the phone 😂 (thankfully the long distance days are now over)
I pray that Allah always protects our marriage and everyone that has helped us along the way. From our parents, families, and friends, to people who were once strangers. The saying “it takes a village” is absolutely true. And to our village, I want to say thank you.
This process has not only taught me sabr but also how beautiful people’s hearts are. Even though its been a hectic and crazy year, I’ve learned that whatever is meant to be will happen, and marrying the love of my life was meant to happen.

2020.. you really outdid yourself!
We’re lucky to have amazing family and an incredible support system that (during a pandemic) still celebrated our engagement, Alhamdulilah 🥺❤️

Growing up I always tested my parents patience with endless questions.
When I would ask my mom why it took so long for us to take a picture, she would remind me that she waited 9 months to have me, so I can wait. (Hence my mood in the second picture 😂)
Now I appreciate any memory I can capture with her, even if it takes multiple tries.
