✨ Artist Spotlight ✨

Meet Daniel Geanes, a Detroit-based multidisciplinary artist whose work blends personal introspection with powerful social reflection. Through murals, canvas work, and installations, Daniel creates visual narratives that explore emotion, identity, society, and the world around us.

His work can be seen throughout Detroit and beyond, including collaborations with organizations such as the Detroit Pistons and Eastern Market Brewing Co. Daniel’s artistry has also been exhibited at institutions and galleries including the Detroit Historical Museum, the Carr Center, MOCAD, Playground Detroit, Chroma Gallery, SpaceLab Detroit, and multiple juried exhibitions across Michigan.

With a growing community of over seventy collectors nationwide, Daniel continues to create work that sparks dialogue, reflection, and connection.

“What moves me to create is to exemplify social dialogue in an image. Sometimes the image may be a reflection of how I may feel at a moment or a mirroring view of society and the world around me. A visual journal by me, created and documented on a canvas.”

Through his work, Daniel transforms thoughts, feelings, and observations into powerful visual storytelling that invites viewers to pause, reflect, and engage. 🖤✨

We are honored to feature Daniel Geanes and ECNTRC ART LLC as part of this year’s Liberation Link Up celebrating Black creativity, artistic expression, and liberation in Detroit.

In honor of Black History Month, I’m sharing a small, limited print release from my 2025 painting series.🖼️

These 10×10 prints are produced on archival linen paper and signed and numbered in an edition of 13 each. The works hold themes of lineage, care, memory, and presence✨ These are ideas that continue to guide my practice and storytelling.

Early collector release: The first 5 prints from each edition will be available at $75. Remaining prints will be $125.

🔴 These prints will be available through February only. Once the editions are gone, they will NOT be reprinted.
