✨ New wardrobe addition ✨

#vestno1 by @myfavouritethings.knitwear in size S, using @sandnesgarn #doublesunday together with their #tynnsilkmohair on this beautiful electric blue 😍

Pattern was easy to follow as a beginner, and I’m very happy with the finished garment 🥰

Just waiting for this continuous summer heatwave in the UK to end so I can wear it more… 🤦‍♀️

My first knitted sweater 😍

This is the #stepbystepsweater by @handmade_by_florence using #dropsnepal

I loved the pattern (Thank you Florence 🙏), but I was not very good when I started this 😅 so there are quite a few mistakes and the arms are a bit short as well. I will frog this sadly.. and do it again later in the year.

I can’t find the words to express how happy I am about my #rubyvest (by @hisydgraham) 🥹

I quilted the fabrics, denim on one side and red stripes on the other (both from @dalston.mill.fabrics), and it took time.. but so worth it!! Also nos as hard as I thought thanks the great pattern instructions and YT video tutorial 😍

I was also worried about the bias tape all around the edges, which I also made myself!! But again, had no issues following the tutorial 👏

I did a size 6 based on my bust measurement, no modifications, and I’m very happy with the fit. It’s a bit oversize, so it works with oversize T-shirts or even a thin jumper 👏👏

Soooo so happy!!! 🥰

PS: I’ve you’ve read this far and have any tips on how to keep the bow tie straight.. please let me know! 🤣🤗

✨ I’ve started knitting!!! ✨

I always knew it was coming.. I thought it would take a little longer bc im also learning how to sew.. but I couldn’t wait any longer! 😅

I’ve started with the #sophiescarf by @petiteknit, and I think it looks better on Arlo 😂 so I put him on front page 🥰 (he gets paid in biscuits for his modelling)

The first one I did was the red one and I didn’t count rows very well, so it’s a bit wonky. But I learnt the lesson and counted properly on the black one, so that one is perfect! 🤩

Red yarn: @katiayarns 100% merino (1 loop around the neck using 1 ball of yarn - 50g).

Black yarn: @rowanyarns Mode - softest alpaca (1 or 2 loops around the neck using 1 ball of yarn - 50g) by @echaniz_threads

I was very lucky to test this pattern and I’m obsessed! Already making a second one. The shaping around the shoulders 🤯
