Thank you @paparazzcel for the pictures! 📸

I’m sorry for my facial expressions in all the photos but I was shock and couldn’t contain how happy I was 😅🤣

Fave photo is definitely holding @ey3s.formika ‘s hand after we received our sash 👯‍♀️

I have been rejected so many times before because of my size and I could still remember the faces people made when they saw me on stage. As someone who grew up watching pageants, I have seen how pageantry evolved from just showcasing beauty to now queens having advocacies and fighting for the things they believe in and stand for. It is no longer based on what you look like, but how you can make a difference in the lives of many 🙏

True beauty is in showing empathy, compassion, and humility to everyone. After all, the true worth of a crown lies in how you treat others and how you make them feel. 💕

To my family, relatives and friends:
- Thank you for always showing your love and support in every decision I make and every journey I go through.

To my Team Cebu:
* Ate @michpadayhag , my Q&A mentor. I have known you since I was 14 and you’ve been there for me ever since. I love how genuine and empowering you are. Thank you for believing in me and my potential!

* @johnlerydote , my stylist. Thank you for guiding me with my wardrobe, makeup and styling for the entire pageant.

* Anton Gonzales of @muse_philippines , my pasarela trainer. Thank you for helping me improve my walk. More pasarela sessions to come!

* @n.benito , my closed door interview outfit designer. Everyone loved it. Thank you for making a power outfit!

To Ate @odry28 :
- Thank you for making me look my best! Couldn’t have asked for a better hmua!

To Tita @lourazon :
- Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of this amazing pageant and making the most beautiful evening gown. It made me feel like a queen.

To @missphilippinesusaofficial organization and staff,
- Thank you for giving me the opportunity to represent not just myself but also the Filipino nurses and immigrants all over the US.

To my pageant sisters and brothers:
- Although the time we spent together was short, I loved every moment of it. I am truly happy to have met all of you incredible and beautiful people! ❤️

THEN & NOW ✨

From Little Miss United Nations to Miss Philippines USA

I started doing pageants since I was 5 years old and I remember my mom doing all my makeup and styling. She trained me how to walk in my little wedge heels. I never liked it then but as I grew older, I have learned to love it. From being a pageant fan to becoming a candidate myself, I have enjoyed every moment. 💃🏻 taken in Los Angeles, California by @echapatens
