Happy to introduce WDJ33, a wall-mounted stand for CDJs and mixers developed in collaboration with @jj.boooth

Compatible with most players on the market, from the XDJ-700 to the CDJ-3000, as well as a wide range of mixers, WDJ33 makes it possible to integrate players into booths that would not normally have the space to accommodate them.

Installed above a turntable or mixer, it optimizes the available space while improving usability. Used in a set of three, it can even form the foundation of a complete DJ booth.

This project allowed us to explore how design can respond to the practical constraints faced by DJs, developing a solution that combines compactness, functionality and ease of installation.

Now available on the JJ.Boooth website. taken in Paris, France by @echo.studiodesign

The horn was developed from the Altec Lansing MR994A Mantaray, a 90° × 40° constant-directivity horn originally designed for cinema and studio systems in the 1970s–90s, paired with an Eighteen Sound HD1050 1-inch compression driver.
Our version reinterprets its faceted geometry and controlled dispersion through a folded 3 mm aluminium construction. taken in Paris, France by @echo.studiodesign

ECHO STUDIO is a design and creative studio dedicated to objects and listening experiences.

We present here a first loudspeaker system developed around a horn-loaded architecture, designed and handcrafted in-house.

This passive system features a 13-inch bass-reflex loaded woofer paired with a 1-inch compression driver mounted on a horn.

More to come.
