Inspired by the memory of my late father, VUSANI is more than an album. It is a heartfelt tribute to his life, a celebration of his legacy, and a journey of remembrance through music. 🕯️❤️🙏🏽

You can’t speak on South African musical roots without honoring Mam’ Busi Mhlongo.

Echo Deep takes the raw, sacred vocal stems from her classic Bhoyi (with Max Lässer) and weaves them into the atmosphere of Sono Sam. A seamless bridge between eras, keeping the energy of Urbanzulu alive on modern sound systems.

Turn the lights down and let it wash over you. Link in bio.

Tii's&C's - Tea's and Musiic EP. 42 - Echo Deep

Some stories are too personal for words alone, so you put them into music.

For our 42nd interview, we sat down with Echo Deep to unpack Vusani, his deeply personal new album created in honour of his late father.

Rooted in soulful Amapiano, the project moves between remembrance, healing and celebration, bringing together artists including Cnethemba Gonelo, Khanya De Vocalist, Cuba Beats, Sambo Sq, Scrooge KmoA and Kevin Chant.

We spoke to Echo Deep about the memories behind the music, the creative process, the collaborators who helped shape the album and what it means to turn personal loss into something that can connect with others.

Vusani is out now.
