Critics and Echo users don’t always agree.

Critics liked Goblin more than Echo users do (7.2 vs. 5.8). Billie and Sabrina are a little lower on Echo too. Then it flips: Echo users rate The Weeknd and Travis Scott way higher than critics did.

Rodeo has the biggest gap. 6.4 from critics, 8.8 on Echo across 3,153 ratings.

Who’s right on this one?

Nobody writes a sad line quite like Lana.

Six of her best, from Born To Die to Ocean Blvd. Black Beauty is the highest-rated song in the set on Echo at 9.0.

Which line would you add?

Kendrick told Complex his 25 favorite albums back in 2012. These are 11 of them.

A lot of it is Dre, Snoop and Pac that his family played around the house growing up. He also said he played “Encore” about 10 times in a row in class.

The last one is the album he says got him writing his first lyrics. Ready to Die and The Black Album top the list on Echo at 8.8 each.

Take Care is still undefeated.

All 11 Drake studio albums, ranked by Echo users. Funny timing too: HABIBTI just jumped from #116 to #2 on the Billboard 200 with the FOMO deluxe, and Echo users have it second to last at 4.5.

Where would you move Scorpion?

“Patient Zero” went #1 on the Hot 100. The album it’s on is a 4.2 on Echo.

The Encore is sitting at 4.2/10 across 143 ratings, and the reviews are rough. The one track people keep naming as their favorite is “Babylon.”

Where do you land on it?

Head Trip starts tonight in Indio, so we ranked the lineup by how Echo users rate their albums.

Floating Points, who’s running the sound dome all weekend, comes out on top with Promises at 8.8. Skrillex’s Quest For Fire is next at 8.0, then Calvin Harris’s 18 Months at 7.6.

Who are you going to see?

speedin’ bullet 2 heaven at a 4.0. uy scuti at a 4.6. might delete later at a 6.8 when cole’s usually an 8+

Mixed reviews?

Every album here has a Metascore of 85 or higher, and Echo users scored every one of them lower than the critics did. DAMN. got a 9.5 from the critics and an 8.6 on Echo. GUTS got a 9.1 and an 8.1. Then there’s BRAT, with the biggest gap of all: 9.5 from the critics, 7.8 on Echo across 4,486 ratings. Overrated, or are Echo users just tough graders?

Prosecutors say Michael Smith used thousands of bot accounts to stream hundreds of thousands of AI-generated songs billions of times, pulling in more than $8 million in royalties. Last Tuesday, a federal judge in Manhattan sentenced him to 18 months in prison. Both sides call it the first criminal case of its kind in the US.

So here’s the opposite of a bot farm: the five highest-rated albums of 2026 on Echo, scored by real listeners (500+ ratings each). J. Cole’s The Fall-Off leads at 8.4 across 1,533 ratings, with underscores’ U and Slayyyter’s WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA right behind at 8.3. What’s your album of the year so far?

Frank’s lyrics are diary entries.

Two proper albums, a visual album and a decade of near silence, and people still quote him like scripture. “Self Control” asks for a place to sleep. “White Ferrari” makes a promise. “Godspeed” lets someone go.

On Echo, Blonde sits at 8.9 across more than 8,000 ratings, and “Nights” and “Self Control” are the top-scored songs in this set at 9.1. Which line lives in your head rent free?
