"St. James Ortiz, canonized as saint during his life, patron of puppeteers, theatre, queers, weirdos, freaks and creatures, with a heart so fiery hot it's as if some tiny Eridian was inside his chest. it is said his silky voice could heal the sick and his marvelous hands were bringing inanimate objects to life" -Aura

This is funny to me okay!
I'm manifesting to see him in ComicConBaltics!

LONG SAPPY POST

In typical fashion I post pics a week after a con but had to digest all the craziness that just happened. There's so many things that I met James Ortiz. People say never meet you heroes but just like in the movie where's everything reverse in space, this couldn't be more wrong to say. He's Such a sweet, loving and caring person to all his fans. It mean so much to meet him, not only because im a fan of PHM, but as an artsy queer person myself. His passion for Rocky ( and all of his projects) is like a fire that ignites a passion to people around him. So despite me going crazy over meeting him, which im going to remember forever, the highlight of the CCC were people themselves.

We had an impromptu #phmmeetccc that I helped organize on first day (thank you to ppl in line suggesting that and thank you, Stratt for taking over during pictures). I knew this wont be a a typical cosplayer/fandom oriented con im used to, but everyone pulled trough with their amazing costumes, headcanons, gifts!!! ( thank you so much!!), incredible various Rocky plushies and puppets, THE QUILT and so many many things more. The venue space was so intimate and everyone was so friendly, it truly reminded me the pre-covid convention vibes. I got to meet and hang out with mutuals in count and after it (you know who are) and make so many new friends, which i'm determined to meet again someday, whenever it would be MCM, Dokomi or another CCC!

This was a huge, barely planned first solo, first time in UK, first flight after a decade, so all in all - incredible and exciting experience to me so thank you thank you thank you to everyone who talked, chilled out and took pics with me.
