It’s an intimate chance to step away from the fair tents and connect directly with resident artists and works in progress in the heart of Soho.

✨ Echo Soho returns: Open Studios Edition

One day only during London Art Week, Artist’s House becomes a building full of working artists. Step inside the studios, meet current residents and alumni, and discover new work in the making.

📍 Artist’s House, Manette Street, London 📅 15 October 2026
🕛 12pm–5pm: Public Access

Developed with @therevueresidency, the Open Studios Edition transforms Artist’s House into a large-scale open studios event alongside the exhibition ‘After the Studios’, celebrating the artists who have shaped the residency since its inception. On the first floor, our September–December residents show work in their own spaces with an Open Studios.
Downstairs, After the Studios brings together residency alumne, with an exhibition celebrating the lasting impact of the residency. Each artist is an “echo” of the community it has built.

To our incredible community,

We have an update to share with you regarding this year’s iteration of Echo Soho. It is going to look a little different to last year’s fair.

We are excited to share that after listening closely to our community of artists and female-led galleries, alongside taking into consideration these needs within the wider context of the art market and a shifting industry, Echo Soho has made the considered decision to be more responsive to the needs of all members of the sector, and move forwards in a biennial format.

As a boutique fair, we believe this shift will allow us to create a more sustainable rhythm, in which we are able to support the artists and galleries at this vital time to the same high standard that was achieved in the fair’s inaugural year.

In place of this year’s fair, Echo Soho will turn its attention directly to supporting artists by presenting an open studio exhibition through The Revue Residency at Artist House. This pivot reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting creative practice at its source, while continuing to champion the women shaping the contemporary art world.

The open studio exhibition will take place during art week in October, will be free to access for the general public, and be activated with a series of events in celebration of the artistic community as a whole.

For the last video in the Art Carousel x Echo Soho series, Morgane spoke to Alice, director of Alice Black Gallery, about how she found the fair.

Alice Black presented works by Rachael Louise Bailey. Pushing the boundary of art’s engagement with ecology, Bailey’s sculptural practice is a form of sustained artistic whistleblowing. Embedded in reuse and reclamation, Bailey creates environmentally charged works which shine an unsparing spotlight on the anthropocentric realities of our time.

Just before Echo Soho ended, Morgane spoke to Michelle, director of Wilder Gallery, about how she found the fair and her tip on how to recover from Frieze Week.

Wilder Gallery presented works by Xanthe Burdett, who’s unique practice explores our relationship with nature, using intricate details and a distinctive colour palette to capture moments of quiet reflection. Her work invites viewers to consider the beauty and complexity of the natural world, often blending botanical studies with imaginative, dream-like landscapes.
