Throwback to the filming of the Be Strong Troop On music video back in 2015.
Some behind the scenes shots for you.
This was the smoothest process we could have wished for. There tends to always be some kind of hiccup with a project, but this day ran flawlessly. Everyone was on time and in good spirits, everyone loved their time got involved and gave it their all. And it’s surprisingly stressful on the body being buried in the sand up to your neck like this.
Rob and I were buried less time than anyone else. We were last in and first out but my hat comes off to everyone else in that video that was buried for sticking it out so long.
Some shots of us scouting locations for the shoot. Turned out that the first derelict building we chose to have a look at was beyond perfect for what we wanted.
We caught our guy Ant with @resolvefilm just before he went on to work with some of the biggest acts in the world. We love this music video and the memories of making it are exceptional.
Couldn’t have asked for a better bunch of people to come help out and be part of it. Legendary.

#echotown #bestrongtroopon #anthem #throwback #bts by @echotownofficial

Art - Words - Music about our precious land, landscape, resource and lifestyle. Come gather on the afternoon of Saturday 7th November to celebrate love and life at our town’s historic and atmospheric church. It’s a family event, great for young and old. Doors are open from noon all afternoon, come and go as you like. Cash donations on the door go towards our fighting fund to oppose the Xlinks application once it’s on the table. We suggest £10. See you there.

On November 6 and 7, civil society groups, citizens, and activists across 10 European countries are joining forces for a continent-wide movement to demand an immediate halt to unchecked data centre expansion. Organisers in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and the UK are coordinating mass demonstrations, public events, cycle rides, and local actions to push back against the rapid growth of these massive facilities. In which the Devon Data Centre & BESS Action Group are supporting too.

Wipemeowt!! Featuring Dickens the Cat Drum.

Happy Dickens Day!! Ten years ago we rescued this cat from the road as a kitten! A year and a half ago I discovered that she loves paps, slaps and drummies on her hind quarters. A lot of cats do apparently. She loves it. This was take three of this video. It helps having a brother who is a drummer. She loves her uncle Rob.

Keep an eye on your favourite playlists folks!! Some shocking infiltration. It’s hilarious really this was on in the background and this tune came on and I was like “this ain’t a song”.
Give us a follow for some real original music.

We were stoked to get Danny Webb on the podcast at the beginning of August talking about his long and successful acting career on stage and screen.
You will have seen his face somewhere, from Poirot to Alien 3, from Doctor Who to more recently A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms as Ser Arlan of Pennytree. Maybe even in the music video from the Yes music video Owner of a Lonely Heart.
We talk about his career, him meeting legends of the acting world, working with world class directors, his time on Alien 3, music videos, stage work and touring, surfing and how the world of acting has changed.
This was an all round wonderful conversation that could have easily been twice as long, but he had his 94 year old father in the car waiting.
We are keen for a part two. However, this episode drops tomorrow on our YouTube channel. Well worth a listen and a subscribe.

Out this Thursday! Episode 13 of The Echo Town Podcast. We chat about all sorts. The return to listening to CDs and what it would be like living in a derelict airport. This was a fun conversation which really captures what Rob and I are like.
