Here are some rare, post-installation photos of me in the gallery following my exhibition installation session @wabashcollege . I have completed the installation of my work for our forthcoming three-person exhibition, "Errant Ecologies," with Melissa Haviland @havilandmelissa and @allisonmariarodriguez Allison Maria Rodriguez!

“My very recent exhibition, “Drifting Habitat,” invites the viewer to examine the diverse habitats of the tallgrass prairie and its edges within the landscape of Iowa. This work shares glimpses of orienting and being disoriented on the edge of the prairie: the driftless algific talus slopes, boulders, compass plants, pawpaw, glaciated and unglaciated woodland forest habitats. What are the roles of plants, forests, and ecosystems in orienting people within a place?”

The University of Iowa’s visual arts campus was alive with activity May 6–8 as the 2024–25 Grant Wood Fellows presented the culmination of their yearlong residencies. Through exhibitions, artist talks, and performance, the Fellows shared work shaped by research, experimentation, and engagement with the university and local landscape.
GW Fellow Kyle Marshall debuted "Sunup" on May 8 in the VAB Atrium
Ada Friedman's solo show, "Performance Proposals, Everydays," is up in the Ana Mendieta gallery through May 16
Elizabeth Claire Rose's, "Drifting Habitat," is up in the Drewelowe Gallery through May 30 by @eclairerose
