Recording Day @newmarketstudios!

We’re still awhile off from sharing our EP with the big wide world… there’s still plenty of hours of mixing, editing and production to get through these next few months, but we can’t wait for you to hear what we’ve been working on. Something very special is on its way! 🧡

More to come… 😉

We are privileged to have been featured in the “365 A Year In the Life of Melbourne” photography book by Chris Cincotta @humansinmelbourne

This photo is a record of the wonderful evening we had at @fed.square with the thousands of you who came out to fill the square!

Thank you to Chris and Alex for capturing this special moment and for imprinting it on paper forever 🫶

Last year, we were invited to be part of award winning Australian screen composer @dalecornelius_composer’s album “What Is Carried, What Is Left Behind?”, six works for string quartet, pre-recorded synthesisers and sound recordings.

While rehearsing and learning Dale’s tracks, we were absolutely drawn into his beautiful sound world, filled with intricate textures and layers. It was so special to be part of bringing his music to life, and to now share it with everyone!

As independent artists, we know just how much love, time and heart goes into creating original work. If you have a moment, we’d love for you to show Dale some support by giving the album a listen (link in his bio) or sharing this post. Every listen means something, and it would mean so much to see his music find its way to more people.

It’s been such a special journey, and we feel so privileged to have been part of such an intimate and personal album, with a kind and incredible composer who we’re now so happy to call our friend.

Thank you, Dale, for trusting us with your music! 🧡

A little glimpse from an incredible evening with @katie_noonan_music making music together at the @karralyka theatre as part of Katie’s “Alone But All One” National Tour. 🫶🏻

We were so thrilled to be invited to be a part of Katie’s tour which continues throughout October & November across VIC and NSW, so be sure to check your calendars and catch one of her upcoming shows! taken in Karralyka Centre by @eclectivestrings

Releasing a post-classical album is a niche within a niche and was never going to be easy in the current market.
That being said, I’ve been receiving some beautiful messages, which tells me this album is resonating with people, and that it might just be able to find a larger audience.
To everyone who’s listened, thank you so much, and please share with your friends

So much love onstage and offstage to all our wonderful musicians, work colleagues and all of you of course! 🫶🏻

From Adele to Zimmer, Pink Floyd to Coldplay, Ed Sheeran to Nirvana… It’s been a pretty wild week, so we decided we needed a lie down after tonights performance!

But one of the sweetest moments happened after one of our shows this week, when an audience member gave us a beautiful bouquet of flowers and told us that our music had helped heal her that day.

We are so grateful for this crazy life of making music with people we love, and to share it with people who love music too! by @eclectivestrings
