Here’s why Ancient civilizations once thrived on far less than we do today. 👇

• The environment was cleaner 🌿
Farmland wasn’t exposed to the same levels of industrial pollution. Today, soil can be affected by chemical runoff, pesticides, heavy metals, and even microplastics, all of which influence how plants grow and take in nutrients.

• Water naturally carried minerals 💧
Water used to pick up minerals as it moved through the earth. Now, many water sources need to be filtered because of pollution. While filtration is important for safety, it can also remove naturally occurring minerals that once supported daily nourishment.

• The ground held more nourishment 🌾
Food was once grown in soil that still had a full range of naturally occurring minerals. Over time, repeated farming without enough restoration has slowly reduced what the land can offer, which means crops today often contain fewer minerals than they once did.

• Simple foods went further 🍎
Because both soil and water were healthier, basic foods like grains, fruits, and vegetables delivered more nourishment on their own.

So what can we do to help with this?

• Support local farmers
Smaller farms are often more intentional about soil health, crop rotation, and how food is grown. Buying local keeps nutrients closer to home and reduces long transport and storage times.

• Choose regenerative and organic practices when possible
Farming methods that rebuild soil help restore minerals and microbial life, which supports more nutrient-dense food over time.

• Reduce plastic where you can
Plastic breaks down into microplastics that make their way into soil, water, and eventually food. Simple swaps add up.

• Be mindful of water quality
Using filters that remove contaminants while preserving minerals, or adding minerals back when needed, helps support what water once naturally provided.

• Focus on food quality over quantity
Where food comes from and how it’s grown matters just as much as eating “healthy.”

Food can only offer what it holds. When the foundation is depleted, nourishment is limited.

Nourishment isn’t the goal of large-scale food systems — but it is here.

Thing you will not find in my recipes 👇🏻

Bleached flours:
Bleached flours are chemically treated to change appearance and performance. I use unbleached flours and ancient grains that retain more of their natural structure and are easier to work with and digest.

Seed oils:
Many seed oils are heavily refined and exposed to high heat during processing. I avoid them and stick with oils like avocado or coconut that are simpler and gentler on digestion.

Granulated sugar:
Highly refined sugars can spike blood sugar quickly and lack any real nutritional value.
I prefer natural sweeteners like honey or coconut sugar instead.

High fructose corn syrup:
HFCS is heavily processed and commonly linked to metabolic stress when consumed regularly. It has no place in food meant to nourish and satisfy.

Boxed cake mixes:
Boxed mixes often rely on preservatives, stabilizers, and additives to extend shelf life. Baking from scratch is best to keep ingredients simple and cleaner.

Real ingredients, built around nourishment, not designed for mass production or cost-cutting.

What is an ancient grain?

Modern wheat was bred for speed and yield, not nutrition. It is often sprayed with more pesticides and its natural nutrients are stripped and then added back artificially.

Ancient gains however, generally have more protein, more minerals, more antioxidants, and a different gluten structure. Modern wheat is bred for stronger gluten and higher production, but many people feel ancient grains are easier to digest and more satisfying.

Ancient grains are a little harder to work with, but the results are so worth it.

When food was meant to nourish.

🌾 Wheat wasn’t stripped of its nutrients, hybridized, and heavily modified for faster production.

🌾 Crops weren’t sprayed with harmful pesticides which is linked to gut issues and cancer.

🌾 Food wasn’t filled with empty calories, fillers and preservatives just so it’s more profitable and shelf stable.

Convenience is a scam ↓

Convenient food is not created for nourishment. It is created for storage, shipping, and profit.

The longer a product needs to sit on a shelf, the more it has to be altered. Preservatives are added. Natural nutrients are stripped during processing. Artificial flavors are mixed in to replace what was lost.

Real food spoils. It changes. It has a short life because it’s not filled with preservatives and it’s nutrient dense.

Highly convenient foods are engineered for stability, not vitality. They are calorie dense but often nutrient poor. You can eat enough to feel full and still lack the vitamins, minerals, and enzymes your body actually needs.

Convenience is marketed as freedom. But when most of your diet comes from boxes, bags, and drive through windows, your health becomes dependent on systems that were never designed to strengthen you.

Food should fuel you, not just fill you.

❗️If you knew the benefits of switching to ancient grains instead of modern wheat, you’d be make the switch.

There is a reason this is the best selling cookie and it’s not just by taste. 🍪

The wheat commonly used in modern baking isn’t the same as the wheat from even 100 years ago. It’s been hybridized, changed to suit large-scale farming and faster production, often at the cost of nutrition and digestibility.

Unhybridized flour comes from wheat that’s stayed the same for thousands of years. Untouched, nutrient-dense, and naturally balanced. It’s often higher in protein, richer in minerals like magnesium and zinc, and easier for many people to digest.

Ancient grains are not easy to work with, but once you learn the right method, they turn into the softest, most delicious nourishing treats where you can really taste the difference.

⚠️ Your skin is your largest organ and it absorbs everything. Beware these ingredients in your skincare. ⬇︎

🫙 Poly ingredients (polyethylene, polypropylene, acrylates copolymer)
These are literally liquid plastics. Added for slip and texture. They do not nourish. They sit on the skin and build up over time. Research connects microplastics from cosmetics to environmental toxicity and potential cellular stress. Your skin cannot metabolize plastic.

🫙 Petroleum (petrolatum, mineral oil)
A cheap byproduct of crude oil refining. It creates a plastic like barrier that traps moisture temporarily but does not feed your skin. Studies associate petroleum derived cosmetics with:

• clogged pores and acne
• impaired skin barrier function over time
• delayed skin regeneration
• buildup of impurities on the skin surface
• contamination concerns with PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) when not pharmaceutical grade
• PAHs have been linked in studies to cancer risk, organ toxicity, and cellular damage
• increased oxidative stress in skin cells

🧬 Endocrine disrupting preservatives commonly found in skincare:

• Parabens (methyl, propyl, butyl)
Linked in studies to hormone mimicry, estrogen disruption, and reproductive concerns.

• Phenoxyethanol
Associated with nervous system irritation and hormone interference in lab studies.

• BHT and BHA
Linked to endocrine disruption and potential organ toxicity.

• Triclosan
Shown in research to interfere with thyroid hormones and reproductive signaling.

These ingredients are designed to preserve products, not your skin.

They do not nourish.
They do not repair.
They simply coat.

Your skin is your largest organ. It deserves real food.

That is why I make an all plant based face balm, free of preservatives, using only nourishing ingredients your skin actually recognizes. 🌿 Grab the recipe or order a handmade jar linked in my bio. 🤎

Maybe the Epstein files were shown to desensitize people. It just becomes another headline to you. You scroll and “find it normal.”

It’s not. It’s EVIL.

Satans strategy is simple: make sin look normal and righteousness weird.

Jesus is the only way.

Same cookies. Different results. 🍪

Somewhere along the way, we normalized the idea that “treat” automatically means inflammation, sugar crashes, and something stripped of all nutrients.

But it doesn’t have to.

You can make simple swaps like choosing ancient grains instead of enriched flour or coconut sugar/other natural sweeteners instead of granulated sugar.

Because real ingredients matter and dessert can still be food.

Ancient grains are a little harder to work with, but the results are so worth it.

I have fool proof recipes linked in my bio that is perfect for anyone. 🗒️ These are a best selling cookie and once you try it, you wouldn’t have to guess why. 🤎 No compromised flavor or nutrition.

Something they don’t teach you ↓

You can spray fresh lemon juice directly onto clothes with stained areas (works best on lighter colored clothes) then lay the clothes flat in direct sunlight for a few hours. ☀️

And then… bam. Your stain will be removed. No bleach needed. 🍋

This even works on colored clothes and some of the toughest stains.

Save this tip for later!
