What we throw returns to us 🌊

Waste dropped on land does not stay there.

It can travel to our coasts, into the sea, onto coral reefs and into marine ecosystems that support life, livelihoods and the food systems we depend on.

That is why protecting the #RedSea starts before waste reaches the water.

In honour of World Cleanup Day 2026, and among the ongoing efforts of the @greensharm aligned with the objectives of @ecoegyptexperiences nationwide campaign, the @stelladimaresharm team came together for a land and sea cleanup in Naama Bay, Sharm El-Sheikh.

Around 30 participants joined the activity, collecting nearly 6 bags of waste and contributing to cleaner surroundings and a healthier marine environment.

Every cleanup matters, but prevention and responsible behaviour every day matter even more 💚

Protecting our #RedSea and surrounding areas is our shared responsibility 🌊

@greensharm aligned with the objectives of @ecoegyptexperiences nationwide campaign are recognising the efforts of @jazhotelgroup and @jazgivesback, representing nearly 8 hotels along with @tuimagicliferedsinassh, for a land and sea cleanup at 📌 Ras Gamila Protected Area, Sharm El-Sheikh, in honour of World Cleanup Day 2026.

24 team members collected nearly 300 kg of waste in 50 bags, with around 90% consisting of plastic bottles, bottle caps, and glass bottles.

Protecting Sharm El-Sheikh is not a one-day action; it is a day-to-day commitment 🌊🌿
