🇮🇹-Questi due video girati nel 2019 presso il "Churaumi Aquarium" in Giappone mostrano la tecnica utilizzata dagli operatori per la pulizia della vasca nella quale erano contenuti i delfini.
Durante il processo di pulizia la vasca viene svuotata dall'acqua e i delfini rimangono bloccati per un lungo periodo di tempo sul fondo di cemento impossibilitati a muoversi.
Come si può pensare che queste creature possano essere felici in cattività soprattutto quando vengono poi sottoposte a questi livelli di stress e maltrattamento?

🇬🇧-These two videos shot in 2019 at the "Churaumi Aquarium" in Japan show the normal technique used by operators for cleaning the tank in which the dolphins are contained.
During the cleaning process the tank is emptied of water and the dolphins remain blocked for a long period of time on the concrete bottom unable to move.
How can you think that these creatures can be happy in captivity especially when they are then subjected to these levels of stress and mistreatment?

🇮🇹-Un cane ritrova il suo proprietario nell'inferno di Bucha, la città ucraina devastata dai soldati russi. Il giovane husky si è riunito al suo proprietario dopo essere stato salvato dalle macerie. Nel filmato si vede l'animale che non riesce a trattenere la gioia quando riconosce il suo padrone.
Questa piccola storia a lieto fine purtroppo non cancella il dramma della guerra che sta portando terribili conseguenze anche agli animali. È di questi giorni infatti la notizia degli oltre 300 cani ritrovati morti nel canile di Borodyanka. Per 30 giorni nessuno si è preso cura di loro. Né i responsabili comunali, né gli abitanti del posto. La zona era stata abbandonata durante i bombardamenti dei russi. E così i cani sono morti di sete prigionieri nelle loro gabbie.

🇮🇹-Un cavallo qualche giorno fa è entrato all’Eurospin di Ittiri, in Sardegna, ed ha iniziato a girovagare indisturbato tra le corsie. L’animale era probabilmente spaventato da un temporale ed è per questo motivo fuggito da un allevamento lì vicino, senza che il suo padrone se ne accorgesse. È così che si è riparato nel calore del supermercato. Ad accorgersi della sua presenza sono stati i clienti che si trovavano all’interno di quest’ultimo. Qualcuno, preso alla sprovvista, ha urlato, mentre qualcun altro lo ha avvicinato e lo ha aiutato a calmarsi, dato che era inevitabilmente frastornato dall’ambiente sconosciuto.
L’importante, ad ogni modo, è che la sua storia si sia conclusa con il lieto fine. È tornato, infatti, nel suo habitat naturale dal suo legittimo proprietario, che sicuramente adesso cercherà di custodirlo meglio e di evitare nuove fughe.

🇮🇹-140 centimetri di filo per palloncini sono stati estratti da questa tartaruga marina dopo che l'animale aveva espulso una quantità incredibile di fremmenti di plastici.

🇮🇹-A volte anche una recinzione se non ben progettata si può trasformare in una trappola mortale per gli animali.
Complimenti a questo ragazzo per aver salvato questi uccelli in difficoltà.
È probabile che queste gazze, dopo essersi appoggiate alla recinzione siano scivolate sulla superficie metallica fortemente inclinata rimanendo poi incastrate con la testa tra le aste verticali.

🇮🇹-"Non tutti gli eroi portano un mantello"
Delle 100 colture da cui dipende il 90 per cento della produzione mondiale di cibo, 71 sono legate al lavoro di impollinazione delle api. Questo significa che, se questi preziosi insetti sparissero, le conseguenze sulla produzione alimentare sarebbero devastanti. Chi impollinerebbe le coltivazioni? L’impollinazione artificiale è infatti una pratica lenta e costosa e soprattutto meno efficace mentre il valore di questo servizio, è offerto gratis dalle api di tutto il mondo
Ma accanto alle api sono anche altri gli insetti impollinatori preziosi per la produzione delle nostre colture: tra questi anche le farfalle, a forte rischio estinzione a causa dei pesticidi. Come rileva infatti, l’ultimo rapporto dell’European Enviroment Agency, la presenza delle farfalle si è ormai ridotta del 50 per cento, con numerose specie che vengono considerate a rischio estinzione.

🇮🇹-Mezzi di trasporto ecologici ed economici. Circa il 50% dei viaggi in auto effettuati ogni giorno in Europa copre una distanza inferiore ai 5 km. Questa è una distanza che si potrebbe fare con soli 15-20 minuti di bicicletta, risparmiando non solo soldi ma anche tanto tempo che spendiamo fermi in coda o a cercare parcheggio.
È dimostrato, infatti, che per percorsi brevi (inferiori ai 5-6 km, ma talvolta anche fino a 13 km) la bicicletta è un mezzo di trasporto più efficiente e più rapido dell’automobile, con la quale si rimane spesso bloccati a lungo nel traffico cittadino.
Utilizzare la bicicletta per gli spostamenti urbani significa non solo muoversi in modo sostenibile ma anche risparmiare I soldi del carburante.

🇮🇹-Questo video mostra due cose: - ci sono persone senza cuore che considerano gli animali come oggetti che possono essere buttati nella spazzatura - ce ne sono altre che invece fanno possibile per aiutarli. Grazie agli operatori ecologici per questo salvataggio (pochi istanti dopo i gattini sarebbero rimasti schiacciati nel camion). Sfortunatamente, uno dei gattini nella busta era già morto.

Ecco l'idea di Robb Greenfield che con il suo progetto ‘Trash me’ per un mese ha indossato ogni singolo rifiuto che ha prodotto.
"L'americano medio genera 4,5 chili di spazzatura al giorno, ciò significa che raggiungerò i 135 chili in 30 giorni. Molte persone non pensano mai a quanti rifiuti producono perché quando li gettano via non se ne ricordano più." Queste erano le dichiarazioni dell'attività prima di cimentarsi in questa impresa.

🇮🇹-CANALI SOLARI IN INDIA
L'energia solare è energia pulita, ma di solito, a meno di non sfruttare la superficie dei tetti delle case, può presentare il problema di occupare enormi porzioni di terreno utile. In India, hanno invece pensato ad un'alternativa interessante: quella di coprire con i pannelli fotovoltaici i canali per l'irrigazione.
Questo sistema oltre a non sottrarre terreno utile per le coltivazioni presenta un ulteriore vantaggio: i pannelli, riparando riparando l'acqua dal sole, ne riducono l'evaporazione, e questo è un aspetto molto importante nei paesi caratterizzati da un clima arido.
Un ultima considerazione tecnica: l'efficienza dei pannelli cala all'aumentare della temperatura, ma posizionandoli sopra ad un canale si riesce a farli lavorare ad una temperatura leggermente più bassa (la poca acqua che evapora consente infatti ad abbassare la temperatura in prossimità del canale) e questo aumenta le prestazioni dei pannelli.

🇬🇧-SOLAR CANALS IN INDIA
