Swipe for the journey➡️

Im not big on birthdays but this one is pretty special…

Baseball has always been my identity. From the first time I picked up a bat and a ball, I was in love.

And for the longest time, I strictly identified as a baseball player.

Baseball brought me my closest friends, my greatest memories to date, and life lessons that I don’t think I could have learned anywhere else.

& to be honest with you, when I STOPPED playing - baseball meant more to me than ever before.

You might be thinking, why is that?

I’ll tell you:

Because when I was actually competing, it was driven by my ego. I wanted to be the best because of status, not saying that wanting status is a bad thing, but it was MORE about that than the love of the game itself.

& now since im able to coach athletes all around the world, baseball has a far bigger meaning to me.

I always wanted to make a living off of baseball…. Like every kid I wanted to pitch in the MLB.

That did not happen for me and honestly, I could not be more grateful. Would I love to pitch in the bigs? Absolutely.

BUT

Being able to make a living from baseball & impact the younger generation through coaching and my overall message is the single greatest thing to ever happen to me.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you can probably tell how passionate I am about this game & helping all of you become better.

It’s the single thing that makes me wake up in the morning excited for the day ahead.

At 26 years old, I think back on my entire journey through baseball and through my life in general.

A year ago I would have not thought that I would be in the position I am now with how many athletes I’ve been able to help.

& I realized that I am just BEGINNING to tap into how much of an impact I can make on the game of baseball.

If you’ve gotten anything out of my content or just like following along, if you’re one of my athletes, an athlete I’ve coached in the past, or anyone else following my page - thank you.

Appreciate all of you guys💪🏻 by @ecpitching
