Congratulations to College of Business alumnus Philip Bondestad on earning his first professional victory! πŸŒοΈβ€β™‚οΈβ›³οΈπŸ† A May 2026 Finance graduate, Philip recently captured his first professional win while competing in Europe on the @cutterandbucktour_. It's an exciting milestone for a Pirate whose impact on ECU will be remembered for years to come. And – did you see his winning outfit!? πŸ‘€ 😍 Originally from Norway, Philip spent four years leaving his mark both on the golf course and in the classroom. A two-time tournament champion, four-time AAC All-Academic Team selection, and Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar, he graduated as one of the most accomplished golfers in program history, finishing second all-time in career stroke average while posting two of the program's top five single-season scoring averages. Philip's legacy extends far beyond the scorecard. He was a fierce competitor, an outstanding student and a tremendous representative of the College of Business and Pirate Nation. Congratulations, Philip! We are so proud of everything you've accomplished and can't wait to see where your professional career takes you. Once a Pirate, always a Pirate. πŸ’›πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈπŸ“Έ Cutter & Buck Tour by @ecucob

Congratulations to Roz Burgess on being featured by the National Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization! πŸ‘πŸŒŽβοΈ In its recent feature, "How Roz Burgess Turned a Chapter That Needed Extra Attention Into One of the Best in the Country," the organization highlights Roz's leadership journey and the impact he has made as President of ECU's Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization chapter. During his time at ECU, Roz helped grow the chapter by nearly 40%, expanded partnerships across campus, welcomed nationally recognized entrepreneurs and executives to speak with students, and gained valuable industry experience through internships with CAPTRUST and Oracle.
