Three years ago, I became a published author.

Yesterday marked three years since This Child of Mine found its way into the world, and somehow it still feels surreal.

When I wrote this story, I had no idea what would happen next.

I didn’t know if anyone would read it.

I didn’t know if readers would connect with the characters.

I certainly didn’t know that, three years later, I’d still be receiving messages from people telling me they laughed, cried, stayed up far too late reading “just one more chapter”, or that the story stayed with them long after they turned the final page.

This book changed my life in ways I never expected.

It gave me confidence to keep writing.

It introduced me to the most wonderful community of readers.

It opened doors I never imagined possible.

Most of all, it reminded me that stories have an incredible way of bringing strangers together.

So this little carousel is simply my way of saying...

Three years.

Yesterday marked three years since This Child of Mine was published, and honestly... I’m not quite sure where that time has gone.

When I wrote this story, I had no idea where it would take me. I certainly never imagined it would lead to another novel, festival panels, meeting so many incredible readers, and becoming part of such a wonderfully supportive book community.
