I get asked all of the time “how do you get these colors?!” Well, I make them. I mix Mason stain into porcelain to create the colors I love💓 there’s so much wedging that happens when the camera turns off, it’s not even funny.

This process takes another 1-2hrs of wedging before the clay can be used. And I let it sit for a few weeks+ a year to make sure the color is fully saturated❤️

Prepping more colored clay. This process takes me about 2 hours per color but the time lapse makes it less than 30 seconds🌀

Wait!! There’s a new bakery in town?!? And it has locally made pottery?!? On a shelf made by a local woodworker?!? And I can sit in the cafe and enjoy coffee/tea and baked goods?!? AND they have classes available?!? This place sounds incredible!
🐓🐓🐓
You can find these mugs at @threelittlehensbakingco in Youngstown, NY. Although they aren’t available for sale, you can enjoy them when you stop in for coffee, a sweet treat or a class!!🌟Congratulations @rjolbert on making this wonderful place happen and thank you for supporting local artists💕 by @ecwpottery
