ED4CH SetUup workshop! Works. #ED4POMPEII #exhibit #heritage #dbe #unina #art #design #architecture #museum #pompeii #archeologicalsite #history #display by @ed4ch.studio
Back to the basic workshop of our ED4CH course-programme, we are proud to show you the outcomes performed by our students! We asked them to design a set-up for their own body, using it as a communicative tool, picturing an “inhabitant” of the archeological site of Pompeii. A character (historical or not) who “occupied” it: -characters from ancient Rome who had inhabited Pompeii -characters who had occupied/visited Pompeii, in a “unusual” way (grand tour travelers, artists, architects..) who have been setting up a relation/connection with the ancient city. The results are a setting up of the body through a “body-structure”, which synthetize and communicate behaviors and shapes of the “occupant/inhabitant” which they are going to picture. #ED4POMPEII #exhibit #heritage #dbe #unina #art #design #architecture #museum #pompeii #archeologicalsite #history #display by @ed4ch.studio

Back to the basic workshop of our ED4CH course-programme, we are proud to show you the outcomes performed by our students. We asked them to design a set-up for their own body, constructing a costume related to the animal species housed within their assigned Zoo pavilion. By studying it, passing through the Zoolatry concept - according to the ancient religiuos practice related to the animal worship in history - and using the body as a communicative tool, the challenge was to find a relation between this ideology and the animals. The results is a setting up the body through a “body-structure”, which identifies the AMBASSADOR of the animal species: a storytelling of the pavilion and of the animals inhabiting it choosing relevant features and representing them through “synthetic shapes” as “metaphors” to symbolize concepts/characters/particularities of it. Through an in dept analysis of characteristics and uses of the animals, the students were able to came up with the perfect costume for their body and the results are amazing! Swipe-right to enjoy the instant moments of the workshop! #ed4ch #exhibit #heritage #dbe #unina #art #design #architecture #zoo #naples #animals  #space #habit #coexistence #interaction #biosphere #respect #preserving by @ed4ch.studio
