First time at Gamescom as a PR was brilliant. I may not have seen or played as many games as when I was a journo (though Witcher 3 DLC looks amazing), but working on the Metro 2039 booth was still super satisfying (the game won an award!!) plus I got to catch up with so many industry pals and make new ones. Today marks my final day at Eurogamer and my last as a games journalist after four years. I’ve had some incredible trips and met some absolute gaming heroes, but I’m excited about new adventures in the future. Thanks for having me Eurogamer! by @ed_nights

Such an amazing day out at Silverstone volunteering for @greatormondst this past weekend. In true British fashion, I got drenched to the point where my socks needed wringing out (and awful flat hair), and then an hour later I got sunburnt. A truly British Grand Prix. Also, I’ve only ever seen two F1 races in person - the Spanish GP in 2012 where @pastormaldo won, and now this when @hulkhulkenberg got a podium. Feeling very lucky to have been in Tokyo this week to meet Hideo Kojima and play Death Stranding 2. Can’t wait to share my thoughts on the game soon, but what a joy to be back in Japan so soon after our holiday last year! taken in Kojima Productions by @ed_nights
