When it’s the fifth attempt of the day, and the Holy Virgin herself guides you to the chains ☺️ Let’s see if the conditions hold so we can snag a few more sends on this impressive wall 🥰 Falconetti 🔴 #Montsant #climbing_pictures_of_instagram #climbing #rockclimbing #climbing_photos_of_instagram #escalade #climbing_is_my_passion #iloveclimbing #climbingphotography #climber #grimpe #climbing_worldwide #climberlife #climbersofinstagram #climbing_lovers #climbers #catalunya #climbinglife #climbinginspiration #outdoors #sonyalpha by @ed_ru
📹 curraso de @alexmtejeida 😊 #Rodellar #kneebartheworld #climbing_pictures_of_instagram #climbing #climbingphotography #rockclimbing #climbing_photos_of_instagram #escalade #climbing_is_my_passion #iloveclimbing #climbingphotography #climber #grimpe #climbing_worldwide #climberlife #climbersofinstagram #climbing_lovers #climbers #climbinglife #climbinginspiration #outdoors #sonya7iii #sonyalpha #sonyalpha7iii by @ed_ru

Ending an exceptional summer in #Rodellar with El hijo libre, 8c 🔴 18 weekends in a row in the valley, 54 days of climbing, a few routes sent, many more tried, and, as always, plenty left unfinished to keep dreaming about until next year 🥰 Already thinking about how much I’m going to miss this valley and this style of climbing 🥹 by @ed_ru
Cosi fan tutte — 8c+ 🔴 Two summers of trying without ever really knowing if I could do it. Countless early mornings, hour-long attempts hanging from every draw, three months of training, an epic fail at the chains that I’ll never forget… and finally, one perfect day when everything falls into place. Thank you, @carodelvincourt , for all your patience, @ederlomba for the training that seems to have paid off 😜, everyone who makes the three-hour drive to Rodellar every weekend something I do with a huge smile on my face, and everyone who makes this valley such a special place @bogliacc @lugi_____ @sebiif_ @elpuentevallederodellar @marta.palou Willy ❤️🫶🏽 by @ed_ru
Many climbers can say they’ve sent Cosi fan tutte… But how many can say they fell off the final hold with the route basically already done? 🤣 I think it’ll be years before anyone takes my #1 spot for the biggest fail on this route 😅 Last Saturday’s tragedy, after 1 hour climbing the 45 meters of Cosi 😭🥺 Merci @carodelvincourt for the countless one-hour belays on this route, and @ederlomba for immortalizing this glorious moment 😂 by @ed_ru
Cosi Fan Tutte 🥹 The key to the send was the 5mins I spent in the pool beforehand plus the positive energy in the sector. It was really hot and warming up on Pim Pam Plouf (my favourite route in the sector) sweat was dripping in my eyes and my skin felt so damp. I got in the water hands and all up to my neck and stayed there until I came out shivering. Cool tip: I wore my sports bra in the water and it stayed damp for most of the climb 😜 I’d gone from just trying the route without any real expectations due to the heat and recent work load in the campsite (I work in @elpuentevallederodellar in the summer) to the day before getting a really good high point and two days before that doing a mega link to the top from before the first crux. Suddenly I was feeling like I was able to send and that’s when the nerves and doubt started creeping in. I talked it over with David my partner and Kerrin @betamindlab my mental coach and I was so proud of myself to be able to climb relaxed. I let the little gusts of wind decide when I left the big knee-bar rests and focused on the circling vultures in the valley to take my mind off things. For the first time trying the route I got onto the final slab whilst it was still in the shade and so the holds suddenly felt a lot bigger, it wasn’t until I was standing next to the chains that I let the floodgate of nerves open and almost couldn’t clip the chains because of them. I took a couple of deep breaths and after what felt like an eternity I was calm enough to pass the rope through the anchor of my first 8c+. Cosi Fan Tutte Thank you everyone who was at the sector that day cheering me on and to everyone who sent me messages and to all of the people that shared beta with me. So many of the moves are “Audrey’s section” “David’s foot” “ Caro’s method” etc. and I felt your presence whilst climbing. Hot tip, if you’re projecting something make sure you share beta and just keep showing up. Patience and perseverance are vital. Honestly I still can’t quite believe it. Thank you @ed_ru for these images during a mega link up last Saturday, it was after doing this that I truly started to believe that I could send ❤️ by @ed_ru
Tot i que aquest any quasi no salvem ni allà 😅 📸 El llicenciat, una de les bones joietes del sector 😍 by @ed_ru
