Truly honored to have painted a contemporary mural artwork at @segeraretreat — a place that deeply moved me with its warmth, vision, and unwavering commitment to people and the planet.
My time there was not only inspiring but also grounding, as I witnessed firsthand the incredible impact of their community-driven initiatives and the passionate spirit of their team. This piece is a reflection of the powerful values they stand by, beautifully captured in their 4Cs: Conservation, Community, Culture, and Commerce. Grateful to have been part of something so meaningful. 🌞

Sometime back in Nov–Dec, I had the opportunity to bring a mural to life for @hevafund ,and this is how it turned out.

Grateful for the collaboration and support from @gohole_o in helping shape this piece into something truly special.

Perfect day to share it too… while the rain pours outside 🌧️ a little color to brighten the mood. 🎨 by @ed_wainaina

DUALITY 🌗

15 faces. Fifteen emotions. One place.

Motivated by the excitement around CIEL Lounge, the artwork delves into duality, creating two different sides on every single face. A little bit of tension, a little bit of balance, and tons of character. 🌓

A dialogue between perception and emotion. Made for @ciel_nairobi by @ed_wainaina

Women in sub-Saharan Africa spend 249 minutes a day on care — more than three times what men spend. In law, that work happens alongside the caseload, not instead of it. But legal workplaces still measure commitment by hours in a chair, and by that measure, the woman doing both is the one who looks absent.

The Invisible Hours makes that arithmetic visible.

A while back I had the honour of working with Nerima Wanyama to create the cover illustration for her book,
HIDDEN HEIR 🌖

And thank you for trusting me to help give the cover a form. My first book cover. What an honour. 🫶🏽

Seeing the journey from the sketch through all the layers and iterations to the finished cover . 💯

And finally the book launch has been a beautiful full‑circle moment.

Congratulations, Nerima, on bringing Hidden Heir into the world. ❤️ by @ed_wainaina
