We are continuing to recruit for an incredibly important research study investigating the relationship between Autistic masking, eating disorder symptoms and brain structure in Autistic people with and without anorexia. This study has been informed by phenomenal lived-experience-led research exploring Autistic perspectives towards MRI research.

We are continuing to recruit for a research study investigating the relationship between Autistic masking, eating disorder symptoms, and brain structure in Autistic people with AND without anorexia. This study has been informed by phenomenal lived-experience-led research exploring Autistic perspectives towards MRI research.

In this episode, Kyle speaks to Rebecca about her experience of receiving her autism diagnosis and the impact it had on her eating disorder. They discuss more generally the impact of autism diagnoses on the self as well as the broader social impacts diagnoses can have, before finishing by talking about the utility of screens within ED services and the potential research priorities in this area.
