SINTAGMA is a research and sonic exploration project focused on the non-deterministic investigation of electroacoustic hyperinstruments. In this second phase of research and experimentation, the work focused on the relationship with the performer (@kn0ght ) and on the integration of the system from a performative/improvisational perspective.

Sono molto felice di annunciare che il mio progetto di ricerca e sperimentazione SINTAGMA è stato selezionato per la meravigliosa "MAGNETICA", rassegna organizzata in occasione del centenario di Luciano Berio dal centro @temporealefirenze .

SINTAGMA è un progetto di ricerca sonora sugli iperstrumenti elettroacustici, concepiti come sistemi semi-caotici e reattivi. In questo secondo passo, il focus è sul rapporto con l’interprete (@kn0ght ) e sull’integrazione performativa e improvvisativa del sistema.

Yesterday the @diacronie_ Takeover @trenta_formiche was an absolute blast!
You were all so warm and enthusiastic, making every moment of the evening absolutely wonderful.

A huge thank you to @spentriu for making this unforgettable night possible and to Trenta for allowing us to immerse ourselves so deeply in such a wonderful and powerful place.

It took me a while, but I’ve finally decided to share my personal approach to music selection on this cursed platform. On april 5th at @rough.radio with @diacronie_ I made this “hybrid selection”, which is a small, very personal journey through various sonic forms that fuel and inspire my relationship with electronic sound. I allow myself to intervene, reorganize, and mix these sounds, creating a very intimate listening path.

In these past few months, so many powerful things have happened that I'm still in disbelief and in recovery mode. The only thing that was clear to me both while experiencing them and now, looking back with hindsight, is the incredible fortune and gratitude I feel in sharing work, passion, and professionalism with wonderful human beings, thanks to whom every single moment spent together is a precious gem to be jealously guarded. Thank you, always.

"bin_mod vuole essere un'allusione a come complesse regole algoritmiche di trattamento del suono (bin intendendo binario nel senso di "digitale") possano risultare efficaci nel modulare e riorganizzare strutture timbriche complesse provenienti dall'ambiente circostante o da aberrazioni di macchine analogiche sottoposte ad improbabili sforzi (mod intendendo modulazione, riarticolazione)."

Ogni brano si presenta come un sistema complesso e ricorsivo raggiunto tramite la compresenza simultanea di molteplici sorgenti concrete elaborate in tempo reale da algoritmi di trattamenti del suono tempovarianti. Successivamente, estrapolate le gestualità più significative, il tutto è riorganizzato.

"bin_mod aims to allude to how complex algorithmic rules for sound processing (with 'bin' signifying binary in the digital sense) can be effective in modulating and reorganizing complex timbral structures derived from the surrounding environment or anomalies of analog machines subjected to improbable efforts (with 'mod' referring to modulation, rearticulation)."

Each track unfolds as a complex and recursive system achieved through the simultaneous presence of multiple concrete sources processed in real-time by time-variable sound treatment algorithms. Subsequently, extracting the most significant gestures, the entire composition is reorganized.
