We filmed this one just outside Nashville last week, right before heading into two nights opening for @theblackkeys

VINYL’S ARE HERE, and I just got done signing about 800 of the limited edition copies. If you want one signed after that you gonna have to come to a show. Sometimes the best shows are the ones where you don’t really have a plan. About 2 hrs before our Fa Do Do show @tellurideblues I figured I’d hit up @netherhour and @zac_schulze to see if they’d wanna sit in. What was supposed to be an honestly, tired late night show, turned into one of the most fiery and fun ones I’ve had in quite some time. The crowd at the @sheridanoperahouse was also on fire. I also think I accidentally hit a fan in the front row with heel of my boot. I deeply apologized to her and she forgave me. Then me and the gang hit the pubs and saw a bear. A time I’ll never forget.

There’s Sumpin bout these mountains man. @tellurideblues was a huge success. Sooo many friends were there and it kinda felt like a reunion. That late night show turned into an absolute guitar battle with @zac_schulze God it was so hard to leave this place!

‘Rock Your Baby’ pushed me completely out of my comfort zone, and that’s where the best stuff happens. Dan was coaching me line by line, a foot from my face, while the band learned the whole song in about twenty minutes flat. What came out of that room is pure Southern grit and I think we found the soul song that was hiding inside that disco classic the whole time.
