Two nights ago we lost such a beautiful soul. My grandfather, Luis Eduardo Lopez. Abuelo was such an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was very fun-loving and simply just an amazing person. He absolutely loved life, adored his family and very much enjoyed being happy. His generosity was one of a kind. Abuelo was always making jokes and always finding ways to just have fun in any situation. He never let life disappoint him, he didn’t let life’s little inconveniences bother him. It was never worth his time.

These last two weeks have just been so rough. We all wanted to see him. We all wanted to be there for him like he always was there with us at concerts, performances, graduations, every holiday and every birthday. It’s extremely heartbreaking that we couldn’t be there at his side to comfort him, and try to make him smile and laugh like he always could do with us. He deserved to be reminded of how much he’s loved and adored by everyone. Even though we weren’t able to see him and be with him, I know he can always see us and will always be with all of us now.
He’s so special and he means so much. Enjoy the hammock up there, keep smiling and cracking those jokes. Love you Abuelo ❤️ by @eddiedatri
