I was exploring Ubud, Bali on my motorbike when I passed by this really cool pottery shop. Each pot is handpainted by this awesome owner who was rockin a long, white goatee and he was cool enough to chat for a bit, introduce his family, and show me the entire process that he goes through when painting these. This shot is not just about capturing the vibrant hues that you see along the streets of Bali, but rather connecting with the colorful personalities that you come across along the journey.

Think this might be my new favorite! 🦌🌕

The sun had already gone down, and I had just wrapped up photographing golden hour when I spotted these two big bulls walking through a field on my drive home.

I was on my last battery and done shooting for the day, so at first I just sat in my car watching them from a distance. Then I noticed an early harvest moon starting to rise over the horizon.

That’s when I started watching for a potential frame.

With a little patience and luck, the two bulls started walking right through the frame I had envisioned. The second bull kept glancing my way, and just as he stepped into position beneath the moon, I fired away.

It was one of those sessions where you get home late, and immediately fire up Lightroom, and start going to work.

Patience is key, always respect nature's boundaries, and expect the unexpected. That’s the theme I'm learning when I'm out in the field. I’ve come home empty-handed from plenty of outings, but moments like this are the ones I’ll always remember.

Not pictured: the many weekends and late nights of juggling 4-8 deadlines at a time, training staff, recovering from the work week, and holding down the fort at home while she goes to school, while planning a large wedding at the same time. Super blessed to have her by my side, who also made this year-long process so much more seamless than what it could've been. Time to celebrate! by @eddierothvisual

Shot Yosemite in the winter years ago and I've been itching to come back. Conditions never seemed to work in my favor, whether it was the amount of snowfall in the Valley or just my schedule allowing me to sneak away. Catching the sunrise before it melted all the snow was a nice start to the day.

Well... Here's an angle most photographers will never seek out... Snowshoed for miles in the woods looking for my view, came across countless closed areas, found a quiet spot away from the chaos that was the horde of people, set up the tripod... and missed the Firefall glow entirely. 💀

That’s what happens when you’re out of practice and skip the homework. Still, capturing Yosemite's wintery early morning sunrise with good snacks and better company is never a wasted day. And in fairness, it was still amazing seeing how the sun just fixates its spotlight right on the falls and then vanishes. Nature's therapy never fails.
