POSTS STORIES REELS

When @smorgasboarder mag hit me up for an interview back in September, I wasn't really in the head space for it, I'd been unwell, diagnosed with a rare condition all winter, overweight, unfit, injured and feeling the pinch that many Australians, especially those who faced severe lockdowns are feeling. The cost of living crisis.

To be blunt I wasn't up for it. When they emailed back and said that the issue was all about the relationship between mental health and surfing, I changed my tune. It was a rush job, and I sure wasn't expecting a seven page feature.

Apologies to the photographers involved, as I submitted all of your names with each image, but I guess on deadline, the mag missed that, maybe it helps keep the spots on the down low, which these days maybe isn't a bad thing. Forgive that. You know I love you.

I could have gone a lot deeper, but this is the deepest I have gone in print, on my story of mental health and how riding waves and boards, keeps me sane.

The doctors diagnosed me with Bipolar 26 years ago, and I have remained free of their Bipolar medication all this time and question them more and more as I understand that I can't always trust a system that profits off illness.

For many years I believed I was Bipolar but these days I'm not so sure, I'm sure glad that i threw their suggested medications in the bin from the start. Being self made and starting from not much, life's a bumpy road at times but I wouldn't change much.

Thanks Smorgasboarder, you legends! It's an honour and I am also stoked to support you with an ad featuring some of the crew on our humble shop team! Shredders they are!

I understand that you’re interested in the all new Carnosine Dipeptide Wonder Gel thats going global and taking Australia by storm since the launch October 1st.

I’m stoked that my old mate @eddiewearne, a friend of over a third of a century since back in our filming days in 2000 for the ‘Welcome to the Whitehouse’ film.

I’ve personally been using the gel daily and have been really impressed with how it supports my active lifestyle and recovery. There are so many testimonials from close friends and it really seems like miracles are coming true.
If you’re in doubt about the gel, you can Google Carnosine and any health condition. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I’m super busy and I love all my followers that have supported me over the years through @hardyshapes @reeflexwetsuits and @balibodyboarding!
I cant answer all the dms right now, so, I suggest you try the $80 aud pump pack here:

If you’re interested in learning more about the business opportunity, I’d be happy to schedule a chat with our Wonder Gel dream team. They will always look after us.

Big luv Hardballs by @eddiewearne
