the grad post!🎓

I have learned so much about myself in these last 4 years. Being a first generation college student has been filled with many firsts and lots of being quick on my feet. I am proud of myself for my resilience. The most important part of my time here has been the incredible people I have been able to surround myself with. Being in a community saturated by creatives has proved itself challenging while simultaneously being so incredibly rewarding. I have been pushed to my limits and then even past those, when I thought more wasn’t possible I always found a friend next to me or a phone call away telling me I could do it.
I wouldn’t have been able to be where I am now without my family. Especially my grandfather who made college possible for me (though his choice words of encouragement are few and far between I think I have learned his ways of telling me he’s proud of me…usually through my grandma lol)
I feel so grateful that I have had my family as personal cheerleaders.
I got this degree knowing that I was given the privilege and chances that people before me haven’t gotten and I have remembered that every step of the way.

I truly believe I was put on this planet to create beautiful things and achieve as much as humanly possible. I am so excited for all my future will hold and am looking forward to all that comes with it. ❤️
