Happy Saturday y’all! Been off this thing a bit, enjoying some beautiful family time! Got my boy home from school for a weekend and my girl’s killing it at flag football and jiu-jitsu! Watching her skills develop has me wanting back on the mat myself, if these knees ever cooperate! 😂 Got some wild new creative projects underway and Nashville is FULLY BOOKED! Started as a piece of flash I painted in watercolors. Then some cutting, pasting, moving it around and taking screenshots one shot at a time. Added some effects and here we are. Now get a sweatshirt! Luca’s brother @marco_planta_ got the snakes! So good to meet you this time, brother. The way you show your love for Luca is beautiful. That stays with me.
This flash came from a collaboration set I did with #DanHiggs in 1992. We sat down and passed it back and forth until it was finished a day later. Getting to tattoo it now, all these years later, gives me a moment to stop and appreciate how much I love doing this. Thank you for trusting me.
And damn he goes to work putting together a car that STARTS at over three million dollars? The imagination, the skill, all those hands making something like that actually move. I still get excited about what people can make. #ferrari
Then I think about who gets to own it and who’s fighting to pay rent. Feed the kids. Keep the lights on. Wild how some have so much while we fight for the essentials. How much is enough, and why is enough such a fucking fight?
Still making things. Still showing love to our brothers. Still got questions.

2:22 AND THE CURTAIN IS UP. This design started on a sheet of flash I made in 2019, became the COVID CURE pin in 2020, and now it’s keeping company on these new hoodies, embroidered in the front and printed in the rear, just the way nature intended. Then somebody at @inkonthelake asked me what I wanted to tattoo, and yes, I got to put this beautiful trouble on them too. I may even get it tattooed on myself soon ;)

Like I said, DRAGONS OF ALL KINDS. Been one of my absolute go-to moves since I could hold a pencil. All these years and I still want to see what the next one’s gonna do. This guy’s already covered in sick ones from my tattson @sdidido_fff, and getting to put one amongst his work means something to me. Done at @lovetattoomarco in Reggio Emilia with my Italian family.
