Four months ago I made more hard choices to leave behind a life I want for the life I needed. As the time has gone by I learned what I value and what path I want for my life. Today you get dumps of some of the journey and a couple amazing people I’m glad to have met along the way or things I’ve done since. Life has been pretty nice I feel this chapter in my life is where I want to be and while I haven’t technically made updates like I used to I know a bit of the change of posts more on my situation ship with life. But i want to say life has been challenging, exciting, and non stop, it’s been sweaty, it’s made me push myself harder, surround myself with people I care about and want to support, chases highs I’ve never experienced before, and trying to be part of something bigger than myself again. I don’t know what life holds but I’m locked in now. I know the hard choices will bless me later right now jobs not done though. by @eddyjmtz

Day 5 Night Jog

Been so happy with me and everyone around me focusing on their goals and fitness and health. Nothing makes me happier. Today is day 7 and I joined a running club. There’s a lot imma post to continue my journey on here for yall but just want to say throughout this journey I’m grateful for all the memories, the challenges, the people who respect and love one another. I’m going to enjoy this part of the journey for awhile to come. Thank you god by @eddyjmtz

What’s going on everyone MTV Cribs just reached out said do a tour that’s right it’s a big pad but I’ll try to keep the video short. Lol just to show you a 6 foot person can live out their car with everything needed. Yes a few things I can’t mention but absolutely blessed to still have somewhere to sleep while we stay smart. No going out to drink, no buying unnecessary food if I can or fatty, no spending on events, no more excuses for working out these next three months, just pure loyalty, commitment, dedication at being a better partner everyday. by @eddyjmtz

Thank you for another day to keep trying lord. Eat my chicken and rice after a first 11k jog. I try to stay within a two hour mark for eating as best as I can. Today is hotter than usual but after working out gonna donate so at least I’ll be around air conditioning. I can’t tell you how much gas I go through just to charge and stay cool and eat. It’s hard but I know it’ll be worth it in the end 😇💚#carlifestyle #homeless #rice #chicken #russ by @eddyjmtz

Working out, food, shower,repeat. Lately I’ve kept my socialness small and honestly it’s a good barrier. Protect your peace, remember the goal, the journey. Let them gossip, you stay locked in. by @eddyjmtz

I chose to live in my car for many reasons, it wasn’t that I crashed. I needed it to not give up on my self. Over the past couple months I changed and over the past 12 months or so I made it a promise to myself to be more adventurous. Fast forward I’ve gone to five national parks and got a taste of what I really want to value in my life. These are just a few of the places I was able to capture their essence and I’m sold that I want to keep adventuring and doing things like this forever. Of course moving to California vs Illinois this was the goal but as time went by I needed to move more accordingly. Giving myself a hobby like this allowed me to value things more and find time to just relax and enjoy the greatest thing we got which is this planet. I hope to travel and post more adventures as I go through my journey in life. I have put them on pause for now to find my footing in life. I find it shitty that I’ve been living in my car waiting to start this life and putting my fun on hold. But I suppose this part of the journey is simple. I wake up every morning trying to to organize my car so I don’t look homeless. In here I trimmed the whole beard and thought it was cool to include some of my days lately. My routine is waking up organizing, making a meal since I work in the afternoon I try to get almost all my protein before work so I’ll start with a shake,then donating plasma probably eat right after, then going for a walk to get my steps in lately I’m so lonely I rather just hide inside on the treadmill and then before work I try to eat my biggest meal so I try to eat in the parking lot of the gym and today I was blessed with a rotisserie chicken with my food stamps and rice cakes and fat free bbq and some oranges before going back in. It’s not much but it’s my routine typically Monday’s and Thursday’s but this time I got rid of that crazy beard. I don’t know how I feel about this one but I’m rolling with the mustache for now 🥸 I love yall hope everyone thinks my reels getting better I’m still shy haha by @eddyjmtz

I’m not perfect and I’m learning and putting in the work this time 110% I’m manifesting things and fighting others. But one things for sure I got god on my side and everyday is another lesson on appreciating life and everything good and bad it brings. Don’t close your heart, I love y’all. The journey of my life for the past two years were filled with love and excitement. They were filled with endless night like this, sometimes with a partner in an Airbnb. Sometimes it was me pulling two full time jobs, sometimes it was me following my heart, sometimes it was me choosing discipline and going through instead of around. I’ve lied to myself about my choices and what I think of the world or know about it. I’m slowly becoming who I know I am, and I’m enough. I’m staying strong and being humble. There’s a lot I want to share but I thought if I was to tell my story and the things I’m going through I need to be more honest and open about them and my goals.
