My summer holiday project just came off the block and I’m so pleased to
be wearing it for the first time. Especially since summer is over and after 2 months of heat, I’m feeling rather cold this week.
Meet my new ripple loop sweater by @otherloops which I knew I had to make as soon as I saw it first on here 😍 Luckily I managed to fully knit it on yarns I still had /
had leftover, and decided to combine one strand of Mohair by Canard Peach and Ito Sensai pale yellow. The inclusion of the ito yarn makes the piece really delicate which I love

Let me introduce to you my recent obsession! The Dufy sweater by Daruma x Naruse. What a treat of a pattern but what a hassle to get it! I was totally obsessed when I first laid eyes on it, because it comes with a bit of embroidery 🧵 🪡 - but the problem is there is no english pattern. Now I could have chosen some other pattern and do my own bit of embroidery, but I figured that’s kind of a bit of copying, so ai really wanted to support the original. I now have a beautiful Japanese pattern book which I managed to englishify sufficiently with the help of chatgpt that I can knit it, woohoo 🙌

PS: I am knitting it in one strand of the ever so yummy woolia yarn with one thread of kid sets, both by @gepardgarn

Since I have not posted in so long you now have to put up with many wearing photos showing off my output over the past year 🙊
On what is probably the first sunny day of the year here in London I have two pieces on show: My beautiful Harris Hood by @cocoamourknitwear knitted in a strand of Peer Gynt tweed by Sandnes and a strand of silk mohair. As the tension was a tad wider, I have this wonderfully roomy hood which nicely fits my headphones 🦾 Under my cape you can also see the sleeves of my long finished but never shown New Norma sweater by @myfavouritethings.knitwear - knitted in a strand of Le Gros Mohair by Biches et Buches (that yarn is just 🤤) with a strand of their lambswool and cashmere. yum! Have a great weekend!

I can’t believe how long it’s been since i’ve posted last! Life has simply been hectic! But I never stopped knitting and one of my pieces I finished a couple of weeks ago was this glorious Vest No 9 by @myfavouritethings.knitwear in a thread of buttery soft Oenling No1 accompanied by their silk mohair. What a treat 😍🥰❤️

one of my current wips is my new norma sweater, i’m down about half a sleeve. i can’t wait to finish this beauty, as I‘m totally in love with the yarn combo. I had some left over grand mohair (what a wonderful yarn!) by @bichesetbuches and combined with the petit lambswool. what a treat! ❤️

another one of my knit I made last autumn which I have never shown you but which os a firm favourite on my wardrobe. My Lulu Slipover knitted up in the most gorgeous Merino by @dlana.es with a strand of soft silk mohair. I felt like I wanted some gold buttons so I got them from a gentlemen’s tailor down jermyn street and I’m really pleased with the final result 😍

Finally I manage to take a photo of the beginning of my chunky winter jacket 😍 On account of my injured knee I decided to treat myself to the Chunky Winter Jacket KAL and I have to say, I can’t wait for the garment, but oh dear, double knitting with boucle yarn is a feat 🦾

And finally I manage to show you my Bucket List sweater (ok not a real name, I haven’t named it) - but it was the sweater I had in mind to knit before starting a new job and I knew I wanted some warriors on it 🦾😍 It’s one of my favourite and I love the Brushmere by Cardiff Cashmere - it’s super soft and light, warm but not too hot. I love the texture and I feel it works perfectly for my warriors
