CUMBRIA TOURISM AWARDS WEDDING VENUE OF THE YEAR 2025//
It’s been so busy we’ve barely had time to reflect on this award. Mid Season & mid weddings we were so shocked and unbelievably grateful to have won amongst venues we truly admire. Next February marks 10 years of Eden Barn, and we have so many exciting plans still to come. We are so unbelievably proud of the team here, and your support means so much.

WELL, what a lovely surprise to land in our inbox this week. A very fancy Hitched 2026 award, not something you enter, just purely based on past couples experiences. A huge thank you to any couple who took the time out of their day to write a few lines. It really is so nice of you! The perfect chance to show off some images of the aisle last week dressed so beautifully by the below team -

Three years since I’d photographed a wedding at Eden Barn, so it was really good to be back.

Jack & Emma were such a laugh. We clicked straight away and spent most of the day taking the piss, laughing and just getting on with it 😂

The weather actually behaved too, which meant we could make the most of being outside for loads of the photos.

Really enjoyed this one.

Josefine…

Effortless, chic and completely herself.

The morning of a wedding should never feel like one long photoshoot. For me, it’s about creating beautiful photographs while still giving you the space to actually enjoy it; keeping things calm, finding the good light, offering a little direction when it’s useful and most importantly, making sure you feel completely comfortable and completely yourself before the ceremony.

Because the best bridal portraits aren’t about turning you into somebody else. They’re about making you feel like the very best version of you; relaxed, confident, beautiful and ready to go and get married.

And Josefine made all of that look incredibly cool.

For couples looking for relaxed editorial wedding photography with stylish, chic bridal preparation photographs that still feel natural and completely like you, this is exactly the kind of morning I love to capture.… taken in Eden Wedding Barn by @edenbarn
