Almost a year ago Lindsay helped me move back home, so we did a PDX to LA roadtrip. We stopped in Yachats, Cape Perpetua, the Redwoods, and SF. I get to come home to my friends soon and I can’t wait for more of these magical weeks this summer 💛 I am eternally grateful for how loved I am by @edenmillann

to know her is to know nearly every part of me. from the first day i met her, she was mine and i was hers. i do not want to remember her by the smell of sweet rotting honey and sour teeth but rather by the memory of 4th grade proudly telling everyone her ears could wrap around an entire tennis ball. the smallest of things to contain so much love. my love. my childhood. my teenhood. my early adult hood. how lucky am i to have stored so much love in the tiniest of compartments. what pleasure it gave me to be so small and learn to love even smaller. what beauty there is in knowing that all that i am is from learning to love completely outside of myself. to name and to love her.anticipatory grief does not make it any lighter. needing to travel and to pursue my dreams is no remedy. i’m only to find solace in the years of love i would give all over again. i have the brightest of loves for the smallest of souls, and she will always be my first. i love you, precious. thank you for loving me too. by @edenmillann

went home, read til i was blue in the face, cried & crewed til i was red in the face, birthed 3 kittens, played a lot of fortnite, loved so hard, walked so many dogs, dyed my hair, wrote til my knuckles hurt, learned new tricks, kissed my doggies, kissed my friends, made new friends, drank a lot of dranks, and most importantly, found Eden somewhere in the center of it all. never been more excited to be me.
