It's been a long time since I've been on here. I wiped my IG slate clean to represent a new season, a new me, and new work that deserves its own dedicated platform as a way to get its message out to the world clearly and with little interference.

As a child, my only love was art. It was how I processed emotion, bullying, chaos, and the human experience. At 15, I let go of art, with the belief that "artists don't make money",. I knew financial sovereignty was necessary to attain personal and religious freedom. I took on a new identity of business woman and went on to have a corporate career before building an int'l business with 100k+ customers over the next 20 yrs.

At 35, I got deathly ill and found my way back to art. I couldn't do it for long before getting sicker, needing to rest full time. I was led to my spiritual teacher Mitch, who guided me into daily practices. As I knocked on death's door, he reminded me, "Keep showing up for the practices and they will bear fruit."

In time of illness, identity was stripped from me. I no longer was a beautiful, vibrant, clear minded powerhouse who crushed life. Through my practices I began to remember my true nature, who I was before I attached identities as a way of feeling "enough". My intuitive gifts came online and I was able to heal.

Less than a year ago, art came back into my life, this time approaching it as a spiritual practice, and magic began to happen. There's much more to share and with time I'll tell you all of it.

I opened my first solo art show and was humbled to have 95 people, some flying in from all over the world to view the 21 works this weekend, entitled "Remembering Your True Nature." Just one year ago, this wasn't even a concept. Life can change at lightning speed when we align with Spirit and commit to being an instrument of Grace.

I was guided off social media completely. The magic in my work is seeded by the energetic cleanliness of my vessel. Being off social was required. Now is time to share the work broadly for its healing properties, to be spread out in the world to fulfill its mission.

Everything with my work changed when I starting treating art as a spiritual practice. Diverting from the westernized analytical and often controlled approach, I leaned into the ancient eastern philosophy of art as a way of connecting with the Divine.

I make invocations before each piece, inviting in all of the Divine friends, offering myself as a channel to usher in work that supports our highest good, while maintaining my studio space as a temple.

These practices build the shakti (power) in each piece and this shows when people interact with them, as you see in this video.

I recently opened my new collection entitled “Essence Emerging.” I am continually amazed at how people connect emotionally and spiritually with my work, the messages they receive and how they drop into the deepest places of remembering who they really are.

This is a testament to the power of treating art as a spiritual practice and what happens for us when with surround ourselves we conscious art. by @edenslobin

❗️The Origin Story❗️of how and why I started bringing these beings to life.

It all started in the Yosemite forest (known as Ahwahnee to the natives who resided there for thousands of years).

Zach, our dear friend Traci, and I were walking on a trail with ancient trees and giant mounds of resin hanging off of them. With permission, I gently harvested some resin to bring home and burn for energetic hygiene (I ended up only using this resin during my creative process the bring the energy from these exact trees into my studio).

After an hour of resin piled high in my hands, I transferred it out and was taken on a full visual journey being shown various geometric grids and patterns and was instructed to go cut pieces of mushrooms, flowers, animals, crystals and plants.

I followed this guidance and a few week later while chanting and letting myself play, I flicked the cutouts haphazardly onto a yoga mat, with just a nightlight on, stood up, looked down, and saw there was a face!!

The first being, called both She Shines and The Queen, arrived on the yoga mat, was transferred and refined onto a canvas and the rest is history. 24 more beings have arrived since and I’ve gotten the knowing that there are thousands more ready to come! by @edenslobin

This piece was once called Amrita, Sanskrit for the nectar of immortality, the divine nectar.

Some time ago, it was damaged. I sat with the possibility of offering it as it was, there were several people who still wanted to steward it, or remaining available to whatever guidance might come around repainting it.

And then one day, after it had been leaning against the wall for weeks, I walked into my studio and it had crashed down onto my box of paints. It shattered the box and damaged the painting even further.

The guidance became pretty clear.

So I began again.

This is the second pass. An evolution of the first, carrying its history, but becoming something entirely new.

I also had an experience with this piece in meditation that was deeply personal and that I’m not ready to put into words. But what I can say is that this work feels encoded with an immense amount of intelligence, something simultaneously rooted deep within the Earth and connected to intelligences, civilizations and systems far beyond it. It feels ancient and future all happening at once.

This piece has a profound relationship to offer whomever chooses to be its steward, it is asking for someone who will really sit with it, listen to it, receive from it, and expand through it.

Emerald Forest

The first mandorla I ever made.

When I finished this piece, I felt quite certain I would keep it for myself. Then a few weeks ago, someone came to the studio through a friend and fell deeply in love with it. I initially said no.

But afterward, I kept receiving the guidance that perhaps I was meant to let it go.

In meditation, Emerald Forest invited me to sit in front of it. I saw Mother Mary at its center, surrounded by these milky, iridescent waves of energy moving outward into the space.

It began showing me something I hadn’t understood when I made it: the ways women’s sexuality has been weaponized and distorted, and something about this form as a means of clearing and reclaiming that energy.

And then it became completely clear that I was to release this piece to her.

Last week, we installed Emerald Forest in the home of its new collector here in Malibu, where it now lives amongst a beautiful and deeply considered collection of art. More meaningful to me than any of that is the reverence she has for this piece and the way she connects with its energetics. I know it has gone exactly where it is meant to be.

Through making Emerald Forest, and now through releasing it, this first mandorla has revealed so much to me about the shape itself. I understand it differently now. As a portal. As an opening. And as a form I am being invited to continue exploring.

Meet Flora. She’s pure potential and possibility. She carries a lightness and optimism that is felt immediately upon connecting with her. A simultaneous youth and ancient quality I can’t quite put my finger on, but I sure do love her. 🌺🫠🤍🌈🐉🌀♾️🪄

This one… pure strength, creativity, clarity, and protection.

By no accident, she chose to be completed the day the sun moved into Leo.

She carries deep animal medicine:

A giant lion on her crown, looking ahead.
A wolf, looking behind.
A buck, gazing straight through.
An eagle, seeing all from above.
And the precision of the hawk, listening to it all.

All supported by the wisdom of the mycelium, the grounding of the trees, and the cleansing of the feathers.

She’s still unnamed but I’m quite in love with her.

This piece has infinite amount of detail and in her edges. This video represents an hour of work on just the small section. I’ll definitely be working on this over many days.

This is one of the final stages of my process where I mask the collage and prepare the environment for oil paint.

While it would be much more convenient to paint the environment ahead of time, saving many hours and avoiding multiple steps of masking, resealing and prepping the surface, I never know the environment of being lives inside of until it has fully arrived.

Additionally, since I paint with oil, it must come last due to the interaction of materials. Acrylic paint just doesn’t have the the ancient feel that oils carry, and that these pieces deserve.

I have a new series in the works, beings made of flowers. It’s so sentimental for the season I’m in. They are trying symbolic, honoring the bloom and the infinite amount of energy and determination it took to break soil.
