A quick jaunt down to Nashville to knock another off the ol' musical bucket list, a fella that's been on there over a decade now, Ben Howard. I'm so grateful when I get to spend this day enjoying live music, it is a way I feel close to a friend who passed 18 years ago or so now and whose birthday is today. I often wonder what she would think of me now, the painting that she started now such a part of me, the music that still reminds me of her every time I hear it.

I was so incredibly lucky to know her and her love, just as I am lucky to have the friends and loved ones who've helped carry me through the last year.

Happy Fri...gay! A lot has been going on since I took the show down, including getting back to vivid hair and making all the weird and queer art for the two Pride festivals @abigailbatart and I will be at with Fiddlybat Whimsical Wares this month!

First up is Columbus Pride tomorrow and this one means a lot to us because Columbus used to be our middle meet up when we were long distance. We have a lot of good memories in Mill Race Park already and so stoked to make more tomorrow 😍

Happy 2 year gotcha boy to little Loki, the day the brothers were reunited and our little family grew. Oh, how I could not love you more. FRIENDS!!!! Tomorrow is the final day of my show, "whispers from a basket of unsent love letters" and your last chance to see this show in it's entirety (and to take yours home if you have grabbed one). I'll be there around 10 am to prep getting pieces to their homes and to close out so I would LOVE to see some folks before I head back home.

I am so grateful for this opportunity to put this show together; it was nearly a year in the making and I moved through so many emotions and changes while painting these. I will absolutely say this is a collection of the best work I have done in my art career so far, and many thanks go to my partners, friends, and Midtown Gallery, for supporting me.

I'll also be sharing a little series wrapped and dive a little deeper into what some of the paintings mean to me and how they came to be so stay tuned and hope to see you tomorrow morning 💚 by @edenslost
