LUCY FOUND HER FOREVER HOME!!! 🏠❤️🐾🎉

Another Shelter Skip Day, another happy ending! 🥹❤️

Our little copilot Lucy has officially been ADOPTED! 🐶✈️

From flying in an airplane to enjoying her favorite McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets 😂🍗 and getting spoiled at PetSmart, Lucy had quite the adventure!

But the best part of her story wasn’t the flight, the treats or the shopping…

It was finding her forever family! 🏠❤️

✈️ Mission #1: Give Lucy the BEST DAY EVER! ✅

🏠 Mission #2: Find Lucy her forever home! ✅

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 🎉🐾

Thank you to everyone who followed along and shared Lucy’s story!

There are still so many amazing animals waiting for their forever homes at the Brandywine Valley SPCA, and we’re going to keep highlighting as many as we can! ❤️

Lucy’s Shelter Skip Day 🐾✈️❤️ Part 4

You can’t have a proper Shelter Skip Day without a little shopping spree! 🛒🐶😂

In Part 4, we take Lucy to PetSmart to get her a little shopping trip!

Unfortunately, part of this video didn’t age very well… 🤣⚾️ But hey, there’s always next year! Hopefully the @phillies can go all the way in 2027! ❤️⚾️

Now for some MUCH better news…

LUCY GOT ADOPTED THIS WEEK!!! 🏠❤️🎉

That means both of our missions are officially COMPLETE! ✅✈️🐾

While Lucy has found her forever home, there are still so many incredible dogs and other animals waiting for theirs at the Brandywine Valley SPCA.

That’s why we started Shelter Skip Day! To give these amazing animals a little extra attention and hopefully help them find the families they deserve. ❤️

If you’re thinking about adding a new member to your family, please consider adopting from your local shelter! 🐶🐾

And if you can’t adopt, sharing these videos helps more than you know!

Lucy’s Shelter Skip Day 🐾✈️❤️ Part 3

We’ve officially discovered the way to Lucy’s heart…

McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets. 😂🐶🍗

In Part 3, we get to know Lucy a little better, and apparently this 4½-year-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix has VERY strong opinions about her favorite food. 😂❤️

Forget the airplane. Forget the adventure. Just give this girl some chicken nuggets and she’s happy!

Lucy is currently available for adoption at the Brandywine Valley SPCA, so if you’re looking for a new best friend who’s always down for a McDonald’s run, Lucy might be your girl. 🏠❤️

Someone please adopt this girl and keep the nuggets coming! 😂🐾

Stay tuned for Part 4 as Lucy’s Shelter Skip Day continues! ✈️❤️

Lucy’s Shelter Skip Day 🐾✈️❤️ Part 2

Lucy is officially CLEARED FOR TAKEOFF! ✈️🐶

In Part 2, we get our newest little copilot into the airplane, get her settled in, and take to the skies! ❤️

While we’re flying, we also get a chance to learn a little more about Lucy, a 4½-year-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix who is currently looking for her forever home at the Brandywine Valley SPCA. 🏠🐾

The flight is only Mission number 1 though…

Mission number 2 is finding Lucy her forever home! ❤️

Follow along as Lucy’s Shelter Skip Day continues, and remember, even if you can’t adopt, sharing her story might be what puts Lucy in front of the person who can.

Stay tuned for Part 3! 🐶✈️❤️

No flying today. The weather had other plans. 🌧️✈️

So instead, we’re looking back at one of our Shelter Skip Days with Bluey! 🐾💙

Bluey is the perfect example of the incredible animals sitting in local shelters waiting for someone to give them a chance.

You don’t need an airplane to make a difference either. Adopt. Foster. Volunteer. Take a shelter dog out for the day. Or simply share their story. Sometimes all it takes is getting the right dog in front of the right person.

There are so many more Blueys out there waiting for their turn. ❤️🐾

Ok let’s try this again with sound… 🤣🤣🤣

Some dogs hear “wanna go for a ride?” and get excited…

Marshall hears it and immediately freaks out! 😂🐶

Head out the window, ears flying, not a care in the world. This might legitimately be his favorite thing to do!

Anyone else have a dog who takes their car rides VERY seriously?
