A little news I’ve been looking forward to sharing… my new greeting cards, starting with a festive Christmas collection!

I had hoped to have them on the website before giving you a look, but a technical hitch has delayed things. So here’s a first glimpse while that’s being sorted.

Swipe to see the collection together, a few close-up details and each design individually. Which would you choose to send?

Coming to the website soon. Follow me here and I’ll let you know when they’re ready to order. #Christmascards #edgeofthemeadow #festivegreetincards #guineafowl #robins by @edgeofthemeadow

Recently I’ve found myself moving towards a more abstract way of working, and I’m really enjoying the freedom of it.

I’ve been experimenting with acrylics, watercolour and collage, letting colour, shape and texture lead without a finished

This loose way of working has started to feed into my textile designs too. The scarf print titled ā€œField Notesā€ began with sketches and paintings made in a landscape I visit frequently. I became interested in the changing light, flora and seasons that make the place feel different each time I visit.

These studies were gradually brought together to create the final scarf print, while keeping the hand-painted quality of the original work. I wanted it to feel less like one fixed view and more like a collection of observations from the landscape, almost like pages gathered from a visual field notebook

The finished scarf is digitally printed on a silk and wool blend and is being shown alongside a wonderful community of local artists, each offering their own interpretation of the South Downs. It was so inspiring to see the exhibition come together, with such a thoughtful mix of painting, textiles, ceramics and sculpture. The exhibition runs from October 10th 2026 to March 13th 2027. Autumn colour, starting in the kitchen.

As the season shifts, I’m reaching for warmer reds, saffrons, deep colours and plenty of pattern. A tea towel is a small change, but an easy way to bring colour into the room without rethinking everything around it.

The collection includes floral and geometric tea towels, designed and digitally printed onto organic cotton in small batches in the UK.

And for those further afield, Edge of the Meadow is now shipping to the USA šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

Shop colourful organic cotton tea towels and kitchen textiles through the Edge of the Meadow’s website or Etsy. Links are in the bio

There’s a subtle shift in the season again ripening tomatoes, suppers made from what’s close to hand, and kitchens returning to a gentler rhythm as September begins.

The Red Teasel tea towel is one of those pieces that suits this time of year so well: warm, rich and ready for the comforting kind of cooking. If you’re in the mood for a seasonal kitchen refresh, you’ll find it in my online shop. Red teasel printed tea towel. Made from organic cotton. Autumn kitchen gifts by @edgeofthemeadow

There’s still plenty of summer to enjoy, but the first hints of autumn are beginning to creep in šŸ‚

Warmer colours, something bubbling on the stove, and kitchens starting to feel a little cosier. A lovely season to have waiting in the wings. #kitchentextiles #ovenglove #teatowels Folk floral printed tea towel in plums and pinks deco style by @edgeofthemeadow

Scroll through to see how colours inspire the prints. Summer evenings tend to transform the sky quickly, and recent sunsets have been unending, each different from the last. There’s something about that fading golden light that resembles an old photograph. Our latest tea towel and oven gloves feature colours inspired by those long evening walks: dusky rose, faded and deep blues. Now ready for your kitchen counter. #kitchentextiles #ovengloves #teatowels #madeinbritain Kitchen gift. At pop up fairs, people tell me my kitchen textiles are too nice to use. But why not? Everyday items can carry a beautiful print and still do the work. 100% combed cotton, tightly woven for absorbency, soft to the touch and built to last. Digitally printed in small UK batches, colour that stays true wash after wash. Finished with a hanging loop, seams stitched secure by skilled hands. The extra bit of joy doesn’t cost you any of the performance. Where print and pattern becomes the fabric of home.
