Pug Pal Playtime: Andersonville, Chicago’s pug grumble group. A fun pug-specific meetup for Andersonville’s grumble. For pugs, pug mixes, & pug-loving dogs. Pug parents + pugless pug lovers welcome. Founded by Chicago’s pug enthusiast wedding + elopement photographer @MeiLinBarral.

Disclaimer: We love Windy City Grumble and we are NOT trying to infringe in any way on the amazing community they cultivated. We are “yes and-ing” what they started. This goes for any and all other pug groups like Pug Party Chicago, Maplewood Brewing, and more. This group was started simply to have a meetup group a bit more north to be close to the northern Chicago neighborhoods.

Thank you to Valentino for being our first official Pug Pal!

We had a beautiful day at @EdgewaterDogPark for the first Pug Pal Playtime meetup! It was sunny but overall cool and we had plenty of shade.

Huge thank you to Valentino + his parents for coming!! He got to play with some (non pug) pals and hope to get him some pug pals in the future!

Another huge thank you to our sponsors @GrumpyDogClub & @StarrySnacks for kindly gifting our pals some awesome goodies! (Treat from Starry Snacks and personalized PPP dog tag from Grumpy Dog Club).

Welcome Valentino, and thanks for being the first. 🙂

New year, new walks, same good dogs 🐕✨ What’s your pup’s resolution?

This year our park efforts will focus on a specific theme: “Community”. From events, to themed walks, to market events 🐾 We want to build a safe space where dogs and humans interact, sniff each other and play to have fun. 🐶

We look forward to sharing more of our plans for 2026! In the meantime. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE! Thank you for a wonderful 2025

Cheers, 🥂 taken in Chicago, Illinois by @edgewaterdogpark
