Hey everyone!

Welcome to Edinburgh to all jazz enthusiasts, experienced or not! We are the Edinburgh University Jazz Society.

Part of our weekly schedule includes a weekly jam, rehearsals for our very own Big Band and a workshop for beginners. We welcome all people to this society, you don’t have to be a master jazz musician to join.

We encourage everyone to either come visit us at one of our events during Welcome Week (the schedule has been posted in a recent post) or to pass from our Activity Fair stall on the 11th of September 10am-4pm to learn more info about events and the society as a whole.

We look forward to seeing familiar but also new faces on our jamming events, both on the crowd and playing on stage! by @edijazzsoc

Come along and listen to our Sunday Night Jazz!

The event is free entry at the Cabaret Bar in Pleasance; a lovely relaxing venue where you can sit down, have some drinks, and appreciate the jazz.

Featuring the Shed Band for an opening set and a free to play jam right after. If you're looking to play, make sure to find the jam manager near the stage, and we'll put you down to join the others.

Whether you're looking to join a jam or simply there to listen and enjoy the lively and cozy atmosphere, there's enough for everyone! by @edijazzsoc
